My Hanzo/Haohmaru team is too sick. I’m really feeling this game. So far it’s been hella fun. :tup:

Any tips on Hanzo / Haohmaru? I’ve been going for a lot of c.B, c.A, QCFx2+B with Hanzo, some s.C, RDP+K, D,U+A, QCBx2+C when I get the chance and I use jumping C for air-to-air and D to get in and combo.

Haohmaru right now for me is pretty much B zoning, jump C for air-to-air if I’m above, jump B otherwise. Stand far C to punish / stuff shit I see coming a mile away, blockstrings involving it when I’m sure they won’t burn the bar for a GCFS or don’t have the bar (unusual). db B, db B, QCFx2+C for randomness, and you better believe HCB+B gets a hell of a lot of use when I get people used to me and fireballs and random stand Cs. :smiley:

teleport on an opponent as they wake up and drop with j.B->c.B->qcfx2+K. mix it up by crossing up the teleport and landing it in front sometimes.

I finally got to play this game today and its crazy fun.
Kim/Hanzo and Kyo/Chonrei (sp?)!!!

I’ve started doing that.

Haohmaru has a pretty decent blockstring with crouch C, qcb+A. Especially if they’re expecting your crouch C to not have anything after it. In other words, make them block a crouch C or two, then when they think they can GCFS it, spin and slam them into the fucking pavement. Mix the two up and you’ll notice that your crouching Cs have become un GCFS-able because they will be too afraid to do it because they know spin may or may not be coming (and it’s not worth the risk). Too elite. :looney:

And of course, if your opponent isn’t paying any damn attention, you can drain their guard bar and force them to block QCFx2+C.

Haohmaru’s air options aren’t that great though. I think Mr. Big beats anything Haohmaru can put out by like, farting.

haomaru’s straight up j.C beats out most air offence.

use the big build up slash (hcb+K) on an opponent as they wake up to make it impossible (or nearly so if you master the timing) to block (seeing as its unblockable).

Yes, it has been announced for X360, just that the release date is still to be decided.

It’s already out for Japanese PS2 though.

Trust me, I already do. The damage on that thing is insanely nasty. I also do a lot of ‘feint’ fireballs to get them to think I’m going to do it, force them to jump and anti-air / whack them out of the air and regain control.

From the time you left to the time we were done, I picked up some really nasty shit with Haohmaru and some interesting Hanzo stuff.

Kim is just awesome in this game.

Jin Sakazaki’s Kyo/Iroi team is pretty awesome. My Mudman/Tung Fu Rue is still up there. Homaru/Genjyro (typo) is awesome team too.

I still fail to see Mr Big/Hotaro supremacy in the game still.
