whats goin on wit fuma why is he so low, hes pretty nice im my books, and why is irori at the top when theres no small hop to assist his game
^ My buddy plays a good Fuma. He’s middle-tier at best. Only thing he’s got going for him is his air juggle combo and his double fireball. Both of his supers can be seen coming from a mile away and can be easily avoided.
Iori is really good in NGBC. He can just whore QCBX3 all day and his fireball OTG’s after the A version. His uppercut is solid and so is his cross-up. In fact up most Iori players do the cross-up on wake-up then go into HCBX3…
Heh…I’ve seen a couple vids…never played the arcade machine so its all new to me.
I can’t say about import chips on PS2…my PS2 is already an import…its the american games I don’t really care about…lol. I must have my fighters & shmups (R-Type Final/Gradius 5, etc.) on japanese PS2…nothing else really matters.:cybot:
I have a slim one though. Was hoping there was a freeloader disc or something like the ones you can use for the GC.

They make fliptop cases for the slimline. Just google “fliptop PS2” and you’ll be able to find a bunch of stuff. Some sites even bundle boot disks when you buy the case.

There in truth arent that many NGBC match vids…some are at TRF (Tokyo Ranking Fighters) and others you have to really search for.

It’s always because people can’t get ahold of the game man. At this point I’m sure people will be willing to try anything as long sa they have access to it and the game is half decent.

False. The loading time makes me wnt to fly to Japan just to play it without loading.
^ There’s still a loading screen in the arcade version. It’s like 5-10 secs methinks…
Ps2 loading time = 2-3x that of the arcade.
