I do wish they went the “new” route instead of the “nostalgic/well-known” route for the hyper combos. Gamma Quake has always been a weak-ass super, and Hulk should be clapping people to oblivion.

I’m okay with Hulk not having an air dash, but he definitely needs super armor and the ability to deal out greater damage. He’s definitely got potential.
My optimistic guess is that they excluded it from the MvC3 build because they haven’t fully tested its effects in the new engine. Maybe since the game is slightly slower than MvC2 and he can, as weird as it sounds, hit-confirm block? (React to being hit so he can block accordingly) I don’t know, sounds kinda stupid, but anything is possible when there is half a year until release.
New build could have a much better Hulk, who knows. 
What I haven’t seen is his HCB move Gamma Tornado. I haven’t seen one video of it, and I’m curious as to what it does.

Yeah, Gamma Tornado was actually a pretty lame move and didn’t really do that much damage. I don’t remember if set up combos or not.
In mvc2 if your back is flat against the wall and you grab em with gamma tornado… you can turn around and OTG em after if they don’t roll (fat chance).
Why does hulk look retarded? Seriously other than being big and green… he barely even looks like hulk. Also his j.fp needs to look like it hits harder. (small thing i know) but as hulk player… so satisfying watching hulk thunderclap their face… but the new one has no “thunder”… the hit looks like a jab…
I also haven’t seen hulk cancel out of gamma charge into a super… if he can’t do this anymore im going to capcom headquarters with explosives… seriously… i didn’t wait 10 years for this game to no longer be able to cancel to super…
the KD to gamma wave is the only cool thing im seeing so far… and it looks like the wave does dick for dmg in that combo…
well the other thing is gamma charge at a dwn+fwd angle… but it appears to have crap recovery… and combo to nothing… so thanx but no thanx capcom…

He can charge to super. Haven’t you seen the original 6 videos? (I remember it being at the end of the 5th one. Right before Dante takes him out.)

Sucks they can’t use his World War Hulk costume cause at that point, he was the strongest in the marvel comics. He literally beat everybody (great story if you haven’t read it, wikipedia is your friend). Would be cool to see Rulk and hopefully he is his own char

As far as Red Hulk goes? Please no. That shit is terrible.
That said… I hope Hulk works well with the new mechanics. The whole combo breaker thing going on may definitely help him out. Especially combined with his super armor he’ll probably have.

That’s stupid lol. Easily one of his best storylines, and he was at his strongest. He shit on Black Bolt, Dr. Strange, the Xmen, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and STILL beat the Sentry. He would be broke if he was in MvC3 but I guess I’ll settle for this weird looking Hulk:(
Could you imagine Planet Hulk. He could put a slave disc on the opponent and make the opponent attack his/her teammates.
In other words, he would be awesome.
