Said it on twitter and said it here. It’s a shame Capcom didn’t tap Del tha funkee homosapian to do the SFV theme. The guy is OG Capcom fan. He asked who they got for it and RT’d my message so I’d bet that he’d have worked something out with Capcom at a fair price. Obviously it’s Capcom of Japan so best bet they’d go with a japan artist but they’ve been trying to be more international of late.

I’m just not digging Survivor. Gave a try a couple of times and I’m just not getting into it. It’s not bad, I don’t dislike it, it’s just eh. It’s bland, it feels like Japan’s answer to Linkin Park’s early years. I guess I’m also sad that Capcom hasn’t had a decent hip hop track since CvS2/3rd Strike. Hell we’ve got Lupe Fiasco fighting Daigo at launch. No excuse to not get a decent rapper to do something for SF5.

I honestly am bragging at this point. I can’t believe that happened, lol.

Like I said, all characters have 2 themes but no has ripped the 2nd themes of everyone

Where can we change online matches to use the stage themes instead of character ones? I actually like them better, so I want to hear them… but I can’t find the option.

The stage themes have more of a dynamic feel to them and change from round to round, I prefer them overall to the character themes so far. There better be a way to change them soon.

Damn, some tracks that play in the Character Stories are pretty good. Like the medley remixes of some of the character themes. Bison’s remix is glorious

Shadaloo Base, and Lair of the Four Kings really are great tracks as well. Definitely can’t wait until Capcom allows us to use stage themes instead of character ones when playing online. While Hideyuki Fukusawa did a few tracks in SFV that are actually pretty good, I think the other composers completely outshine him.

Masahiro Aoki is the fucking man. Most of his tracks are my fav lol.

I also agree with that Hideyuki comment. You can certainly tell which tracks were his. I’m not a big fan of whatever you call that screeching sound. Cammy, Rashid, and Bison’s themes could have been a lot more epic. Laura is his best character theme imo.

I still love the whole OST though.
