The reason I don’t like KoF that much is because the only unique thing is has is short hops (which aren’t even unique). It just feels really flat when I play it, and after 15 minutes I’m always like, “wanna go back to BB or SF4?” Of course, SF4 is pretty basic too, but there’s just something about it for me which makes it more fun. Maybe the characters? I don’t know…
Anyways, you should come to the tournaments. If you don’t play enough to wanna compete than maybe you shouldn’t be talking about which games are better
I plan on going. Got my secret weapon ready.
Yeah, the reason it’s alternating between Garden City and A2 now is do make the driving easier on the Detroit crowd, but I know that doesn’t help you Northerners out much
If you ever get a tournament together, I’ll come up and support you guys.
**EVERYONE MAKE SURE TO COME TO GAME YARD THIS SUNDAY AT 1:00
Well, I’ve loved KOF games since I played 98 back in the day, so their whole style of gameplay is something I enjoy. The way they’ve implemented stuff like rolls, knockdowns, hops, and meter have been pretty awesome. Yeah, CvS may have rolls, but they aren’t KOF style rolls. Short hops may be similar to IADs but they certainly aren’t the same thing.
If you can get someone else at my work to actually WORK SATURDAYS instead of me and one other guy then by all means.
Well technically it’s only on Sunday because of May’n Event ;p
I was going to make the first one, but my car crapped out a couple days before and I hadn’t replaced it yet. This one, as I’ve mentioned, I will be in Cali for a wedding. Upshot is I’m going to try and play some of the competition over there while I’m visiting!
Figures, well I hope you get that taken care of, good luck bro.
Aaron, if you don’t mind, I’m bringing a CRT to the tournament so we can stream, the set up should be better this time, but im not bringing my ps3 cause I wanted to keep it 360 for ya.
so aaron, bring a 360 so we can hook it up to the tv im brining for the stream, hit me up on here if theres a problem.
Do a lot of people play Blazblue in michigan? Reason I ask is I am originally from Detroit suburbs, so was wondering if there were any places to play when I do end up visiting home.
Not much pretty much just gaming and working. Blazblue and Tekken 5 DR are the main games I am learning right now. Also I got Fat Princess last night and had a blast playing my first match in that.
I have absolutely no idea when I plan on coming back up however. Definitely not during the winter if I can help it
Hey guys, im from northern mi. I was down at oakland yesterday and I was playing sf4 with markudea for a while. (not very well)
I wanted to start coming down once a week for some sf4 wouldnt be too much of a stretch for me. So can any of you bring me up to speed whats going on down there, tournaments, sessions, etc?
will be headed back to the murda mitten in september for good need to find the scene up there and get up with some of you so that I have some people to play with.
