good shit to everyone that came out, Zeiram, cody, vegaz, branten, shadow glare, random viper player (didn’t catch your name) Sorry I was soooo beast with rufus=)
I’ll play you guys again at afc soon, that place is the fucking shit.
Katie, I didn’t get to meet you were you there today (friday)
Anyway, I’ll support AFC all the way, its the best thing since sliced bread. I really appreciate what AFC is giving back to the fighting game community, It’s a hugeeeee step in the right direction.
Good games to everybody I played. I was the random Balrog player sucking ass with my execution. I’ll be up there next Friday, and continue to support AFC because I hate playing on console. Arcades yes pleeeease!
For real man. The SF4 cabs are probably the nicest at any arcade in the midwest, and not one but TWO current FGs there? Even if they’re not games I’m big on, I’m just happy seeing something that a real FG scene can form around. :bgrin:
I agree completely, but I’d really like to see Blazeblue or KOF12, that would be the icing on the cake, we’d have one of the best arcades in the U.S in our back yard.
Only problem for me is the 45 minute drive, beats playing online any day though.
I was talking to Katie a bit when I was there on Thu and she mentioned that the h2h cabs could be changed to 2 players on 1 cab. The arcade board that SF4 runs on (Taito X2) is the same one that BB & KoF12 use, so the possibility of them getting those games is definitely there. If you guys are legitimately interested in playing those games in arcade, make sure you say something to her - can’t hurt the chances of getting it.
Yes I was. Lol. Was over by the fighting games almost all night. Disappeared in the back for a bit to get away from some of the employees though, lol. First thing I had to do when I got there was fix the coin mech on one of the Street Fighters. Whoever put the coin mech back in had no idea what they were doing. Think we got there around 6?
I’ve been in contact with someone from Aksys already about Blazeblue. Back when it came out, we had no cabinets to put it in. It was localized in the US though, so that makes things a lot easier (and cheaper), so I’m going to see if they’ll give us a board on test. I’ll let you guys know when I get a response.
KOF XII is a little more expensive, but I’ll see what I can do about this as well. As ShardZ said, most of these games run on Taito Type X2, so that should also make things a bit easier.
Psh. You get used to it. I make a 45-60 minute drive to afc every day almost, lol. =P
No, lol. I wasn’t. I actually didn’t play anything. I’m no good at fighting games, so I leave the playing to when nobody is there so I’m not in the way.
I was playing ZG2 last time i was there, but I’ll be sure to throw more money into it next time! Gotta support those shooters. I don’t know what time were you there yesterday, but I guess my friend Amanda from Flint came back down yesterday afternoon and was playing more Tekken and dance games
