There were a couple randoms over the course of the night, but not too many. Of course, it was a Wednesday. I’m sure there’ll be more on Friday and weekends.

Yeah that SF4 settup is awesome, but street fighter wasn’t getting n e love. Way, way more action on the 3 tekken cabs. I was there for about 2 hours just playing arcade mode until 3 A2 guys popped up…they were pretty good…the fuerte player was raping me pretty hard. How in the world do u deal with fuerte overhead/crossup mixups on wakeup?
Question: Why r 2D fighters set to 3 round matches but 3D fighters r set to 5 rounds? In tourneys is it 3 rounds or 5 rounds for SF4?

tournament standard for tekken is 3/5 rounds, sf4 2/3 rounds… sf4 takes for f’ing ever regardless 
I was just at Oakland Mall and remembered they had some SF 4 machines, your right! they damn tight, end up spending 10$ there and didn’t even mean too :badboy:

Looks like a SF4 tourney @ Ann Arbor District Library. I don’t really play SF4, but this was just by pure luck that I discovered this.
Although I’m a Tekken player, if anyone will be at AFC on Friday, I will be there. On the Tekken machine, of course.
Maybe I’ll check out the SF4 comp as well. I can probably hold my own against scrubs. I’m screwed against anyone that can do decent combos.
P.S. The drive out to AFC isn’t too long from Ann Arbor, but it’s the traffic that can make it difficult. I try to make it out there once a week and I can tell you that Friday afternoons will be your most painful trip (rush hour + 1st day of the “weekend” = X_X).
yeah, that was me Yusuke and Rusty. I’m the Abel, Yusuke’s the Fuerte, and Rusty is the sagat/ryu.
It tournaments it’s 2/3 round, 2/3 games. I would be nice to have one more round for that dollar though.
Yeah, a few of the A2 guys are gonna go take that tournament. Not worth driving to cause the grand prize is $40. At least it’s free to enter.
Was up at AFC earlier, saw vegas and some other guys on SF4 and tekken while I was there. I dig their setup! Suffice to say, at this rate AFC is likely the best arcade in the region, and if the comp comes out often enough, it could be up there with Wizzards. I did not expect to see the fancy sf4 cabinets!

maaan…i was supposed to go up there with vegas and twan but i couldn’t because my “friend” baby daddy broke into my “friend” house and took her phone and my pants! which had my wallet and my car keys in them

We do close at 10 on fridays, but if I’m there, depending on the crowd I’ll keep the fighting games going a bit later (latest at like 10:45, because of security). As long as everyone tries to keep it down we don’t have any problems and you guys can get some extra games in. But I do have to start turning them off when/if security says something. lol.
I have to say I was amazed at the SF cabs. Damn they are fucking beautiful. I had some good games yesterday with some people I don’t know… I’ll definitely be going back.
