HDR is the way to go. I love SF4, but I think I like that one more.
It’s hell switching back and forth between HDR and 4. Takes me several games to back into the swing of things.
If all you dudes who play HDR we should have enough for a tournament.

If there’s enough people for HDR at the monthly I’ll probably enter just for the hell of it.
Every now and again, I’ll run into some gents in EL Pete’s who can play CvS2 (including people who work there). Had some refreshing games last night, though my playing was embarrassingly bad. I just need to convince myself to pick the game back up, because the game is probably as alive as it ever was in this town.
You must be talking about Kalonji and co. Send me a pm the next time you decide to go up there. I haven’t seen those guys in a minute.

EL Petes… thats in Lansing thats not Ann Arbor Petes, beside if he played Kalonji he would have got embarrassed… hes the only 1 in this world who still plays that game.

As a disclaimer, I didn’t necessarily say they were “good,” because I define good as “able to consistently beat me.” They did know how to play, and were pulling stuff off that showed me they have a decent idea of what to do. But I sat down, having not touched CvS2 in months, and was able to more or less hold onto my seat. Whatever ground I lost was due to being out of practice. I haven’t played anything but ST on GGPO for a long time.
Actually, I’ve played SF4 a total of twice, too. I will say that I haven’t played it nearly enough to form an opinion about it, but it sure looks good.
