Didn’t basically say in my last post to you, that I’ve been going to tournaments since 2007 to watch Twan play, basically? I either don’t have the comp or time, or interest to practice in games. Mix that in with aching hands after gameplay, which you of all people should know about, and I’m quick to stop playing on some days. I love Mvc2, I would love to be an elite in this game, but I can’t play Sentinel the way the pro’s do because it hurts my hands to do fly/unfly combos. T6 came out before around the time I was beginning to quit games. The first week it was out I played it, I destroyed everyone in it. However I stopped playing it for personal reasons and I left the game alone.
Most of my games collect dust. Most instances the only time I play is when Antwan comes over and wants me to play. I am his only competition simply put. He doesn’t want me to quit games because he knows I am one of the best players, I do not have the same drive that he has though. You can play 50 games if you want. If you lost 40 because you don’t play the game then you really havent accomplished anything. Then if you play the game 6 months later, yeah, you don’t play the game, simple and easy to understand. I don’t play Cvs2, 3s, TTT, Mvc2, GG, etc. These are games I haven’t touched for a long time, TTT hasn’t been played by me since 2001. Most of the others I haven’t played in 5 years or so.
I know it’s the second game. And who said anything about being an OG? I played it when Wizzards first got it. I used all of my regular skills to beat everybody’s ass, very simple. ARCADE. I didn’t play console games back then, my last system was Sega Saturn at the time.
Simply put. I’ve been around longer than you have. You live in Brighton. People in the arcades across Detroit recognized me ever since I was a little kid. I played every single game in the arcade from 90-95 late 96-98. Tekken as my main after that. Brighton doesn’t have an arcade, and I’m sure you never came to Detroit until you found out about SRK, so who are you to say what the fuck I’ve done, who I’ve played, who I have beaten, etc. By the time I started going to Wizzards in 98/99 I didn’t play Capcom games anymore, like 2nd Impact, SFA3, 3s. These are games I do not like. I used to play Mvc1 at Wizzards but that was it. No legitimate SF game was out in that era, so I never played any 2D games. I dominated Tekken, locally @ 14/15 during Tekken 3. I didn’t know about tournaments though. Cvs1? I dabbled with it. At the end I was descent in it. Cvs2? This game came out the same day at Wizzards as T4. So of course I wouldn’t play this game at first, just the same way as no Cvs2 players played T4. I eventually learned the game bit by bit, and I played at Wizzards. Casuals? Yes. However, arcade casuals are different than you console kids casuals. Arcade is public, and it costs money to play. No matter what, at Wizzards we always brought our A-Game every match we played, which is why it was the best place for competition in every game pretty much. You could feel hate as soon as you walk into the walls. So every tournament winner, top player that I played at Wizzards AND BEAT, they played their best grooves, teams etc. I beat them at their best. Tournament play and normal play at Wizzards was on the same level. TTT I never let anyone beat me like I do now on console Tekkens. I destroyed you if I could pull it off. There are people around the country who have still never beaten me a single match in TTT, at Wizzards we went hard, PERIOD. Ask AJ has he or Nick ever beaten me a game in TTT, ask them, I tortured both of them whenever they came up there. If you could beat me when you played me at Wizzards, you could probably beat me in tourny.
Ok, you live in Brighton? Cool. I lived around the corner from an arcade called Wizzards and I didn’t have a job. I didn’t have money to buy consoles, I lived at about 5 family members homes at one point as a matter of fact, there are times where I didn’t play because I wasn’t in the area. I’m pretty sure you had a dreamcast like everybody else back then, PS2 etc. I didn’t get a Next-Gen console after Saturn/PS1 until 2004, and it was a gift from my wife, an Xbox lol. I got a PS2 in 2005 to play Tekken 5. So that was about 9 years since my last official system. 2002-2003-2004 at Wizzards was mostly spent playing Halo. So like before, I never practiced. I won the most Tekken 4 tournaments than anyone in Michigan with no practice whatsoever. On pad. lol.
Kudos to you. I still play games. Maybe 70 games of SFIV yesterday with the young bucks at my house. Excuses? Why should I practice in SF4 when I’ve been banned from most of the tournaments? That first tournament that I got “banned” from I forgot my stick because we were rushing to get there in time, so I didn’t enter. I only play on MAS stick, not Hori. Aaron tells me since I threatened somebody who talked shit to me, and that I didn’t enter the tournament, and that because they were friends first and he knows him better that I can’t come to his tournaments anymore. So really? Why should I be playing SFIV? I just like to see Twan torture these fucks every week, it makes me laugh, because Grego pulled a bitch move because he didn’t want Twan to win, because obviously he can’t beat him. In turn, Twan still gets to every tournament in the same fashion and wins every week, it tickles me because even though Grego did everything in his power to get me banned, he doesn’t even get fuckin 2nd place. Piece of shit scrub who sucks at SF, no talent whatsoever, it makes me laugh. I’m not going to play SFIV seriously like that. So what excuses should I say this time? I’m not going to play because I got banned from the weeklies/monthlies? Is that okay this time? I’m not saying nothing about hands, age, family etc. Even though I don’t like the game, I will play it in tournaments, but that isn’t possible no more.
Anybody who’s ever played me in anything besides Tekken knows that I am good in all games. I’ve seen you maybe 3 times in my life, and you and I have never played anything, I never even talk to you, you don’t look me in the eye when you see me. So how does a guy, from BRIGHTON as he says, who doesn’t look me in the face when he see’s me, who’s been sick for all these years, etc, know how good I am? That is the real question. Now notice, I never said anything about your skills in any of these games, I never talked shit about anything you ever say. But I’ll say this, if you want to play ME, in any of these games, you let me know. Usually I put $$$ on this type of stuff. It’s a fact that most people don’t want to compete against me in multiple games like that. They try to bet me in games they are good at, instead of the general tournament games. Grego will say, hey bitch, I’ll own you in A3, 3s, Cvs2, play me for money. When infact the main games are SF4, HD Remix, T6/T5DR, GGAC, Mvc2 etc. I will play games that I am not good at because I have heart and confidence in my abilities even if I don’t practice in them. Grego and most of these other cats lack that. So as I said, I will play you in whatever just to get my point across.
You not calling me out, you just talking shit. Anybody who wants to call me out will play me for money simply put. If you feel that I am a scrub, and that I’m not shit then beat my ass and take my money, it’s simply that easy. But at the moment I’m not even allowed near their little tournaments, so Twan is my representative. They don’t like the shit talk? That’s part of it. Do something like WIN then, stop being a bum, stop practicing if you not going to win. If you need some help then ask the best, come to our training grounds of Detroit, stop being a hoe and grow some balls, it’s just that simple.
