Probably not. If I go to any tournament this year it’s definitely Fina Round, although I’m probably not going. That’s the event to be at, MWC is super trash. I hate the venue, Chicago’s traffic, the long ass drive, the missing eye candy. There’s not a bitch in site whenever we go there… smh… Nah I’m good on MWC, Final Round or Evo for me, that’s about it.

Hey,
I live in the North East Detroit area and I’m looking to get more involved in the community. I’ve always felt like the one person in MI who even still cared about fighting games (compared to the Cali / East cost hypers). None of my friends can be bothered, even the ones who like video games.
So, what can I do? Is there a website where I can see events and stuff? I see this thread and another on SRK for MI, but digging through it’s a little hard to follow what’s new / old / not for me.
If you want to add me to the list, my gamertags for both 360/PS3 are MS3Boy.
I play SFIV, BlazBlue, Soul Calibur IV, and Tekken 6 on PS3, MvC2 on 360, and I also have SFIV for PC.

Where at in northeast Detroit? If you mean Northeast Metro Detroit then there are few of us around the area in Sterling Heights, Rochester Hills and Shelby Township.

We also have Michigan Masters 2 coming up in about a month and a half (I’ll post a thread for that some time next week most likely).
Your first step for getting more into the community should be coming to the ranbats.
