I’m really addicted to MSpaint now. The fact that every computer has MSpaint installed doesn’t help with the compulsion!. lol My mouse is dying, cheapass logitech, I can’t hold down the left click for long anymore, it automatically double clicks.

This sucks now I’m taking a photoshop class so I wonder if it will finally kill my love of MSPaint.:sad: When my prof. heard that I liked using MSPaint he compared it to knife and photoshop to an atomic bomb.:shake:

Nah no tablet, tablet doesn’t really offer more control than an optical mouse in this case because pressure sensitivity won’t matter. The shading lines are drawn using the LINE tool + ZOOM (holding SHIFT to maintain a 45° angle).
I drew a few long ones in the area (covering more than the area intented), and using the free form select tool (the very first icon on the upperleft portion of the tool bar) to select the lines to be cloned/copied (once selected, hold SHIFT+CTRL then move to “clone” into the area desired. Then use the appropriate color for the area to “erase” and clean the the shape.

Wow, I’m ancient. :shake: My style is very simple, just drawing with the brush tool and using 2-3 tone coloring.
Quality stuff here! Seriously… the stuff you guys have done here is amazing. Are super MSpaint amatuers welcome???

3.) Final image, made use of the spray paint tool. I completely forgot about that, helped add whites for texture a lot faster than scribbling.

I didn’t really wanna redraw her arms again so I just moved it down and changed her hands (hands are goddamn annoying to draw on MSpaint!!). Getting there…a little bit of clean up left on her then its on to the background.

4.) ugh, MSpaint JPEG compression sucks, the colors are all screwed up. Tried GIF and it turned out great, even added extra texture to the picture because of the limited but consistent distribution of palette…AND IT’S HALF THE FILE SIZE !!

Sheng-Long: I’m thinking the hand on the scabbard is rather weirdly placed, it’s too near the bottom of the sheath and the palm of her hand should be face down instead… she looks more like she should be holding a quarterstaff than drawing a katana.
