It never crossed my mind that someone made that game via those kind of programs, and I’ve played hell of a lot of them.
Arm Joe was great. It would of been better if training mode actually worked, which isn’t the case for like more than half of those Fighter Maker games.
I own both of the Playstation Fighter Makers. They are classic and good fun when you wanna dick around. I took the time and made a good aproximation of King from Tekken in FM1.
For shits I just downloaded Arm Joe. Though it seems to be a win 95 game so I am curious if it will run on Vista.
Though I have to say, as much as I chastise people for describing things as Gay…making a fighter based off of the Anime version of Heidi is the Gayest thing I have ever seen. I think there have only been two other things I could not find another word to describe it as Gay.
Saw this in an arcade at Metrotown in Vancouver, BC once…god its plasticy Killer Instinct graphics with no real snap to it made my head hurt. Being right across from X Men : COTA really killed it I’d say.

Wow, it got a 3 on the KLOV scale. I’d like to play this game now.
Also add Fighting Wu-Shu if it isn’t there yet. KLOV has no known instances of someone owning this game.

Seems like a lot of effort went into this game too. The graphics look very good for it’s time, very comparable to Soul Calibur 1 at the arcades. Wow, and they say no one owned this game. It appears like it was rather expensive to produce, and Konami didn’t make that many cabinets.
Seems like Konami pulled the plug on this game. I’m sure the cab availability is very limited too. This would be a nice game to play, too bad no one in existence will ever play it.
Of the posts made thus far, I think *Above Omnipotence has named the “best” obscure versus fighting games since I wasn’t aware of most of those games until just recently. As always, I’ve been looking for soundtracks to versus fighting games, and while searching, I came across a pretty good Japanese website dedicated to listing versus fighting games. It even had information on versus fighting games that were in development, but were never released for various reasons.
Anyway, here are a few of the obscure/forgotten versus fighting games that I don’t believe anyone has mentioned yet:
Fist for the Playstation and Sega Saturn

OMG NO WAY. I played this in an arcade in Japan but the name was all Kanji and I couldn’t read it. I went back there to try and play it again just cuz it was so goofy and it was GONE! I thought I’d never see it again.
