Yes, you can transfer. And good call on getting an earlier version PSP. Having CFW makes the PSP so much more enjoyable and versatile.
Questions about Unite…Does the felyne in single player actually make a difference? Or is the felyne just there for company pretty much, doing next to no damage or distraction? Ive heard they made some “balance issues”, any word on what anyone has come across? I am pretty much stuck to playing single player, since my whole upstairs is connected via wireless, and apparently, the ad-hoc party will only work via hard wired PS3’s. Tried Xlink Kai, not a fan.

So after putting over 1k hours on Portable 2ndG, I had gotten bored of MH for a bit. I took a break and now I’m seeing all this hub bub about Monster Hunter 3 on PSP? Wtf is this shit!?
Just tried out the MH3 demo. It was my first time playing any title in this franchise but I can now say I’ll be playing when 3 drops here. Very nice looking game on the Wii and the weapon classes/overall presentation of the title are top notch.
Monster Hunter 3? MH3 is coming to the Wii only last I knew. Monster Hunter united is coming to PSP which is basically nothing but MHP2G which was actually nothing but more of an expansion of the original MHP2 for the PSP
You’re correct. MH3 is Wii only. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is PSP, due out in a couple weeks. It is pretty much just an expansion to MHF2. I’m really looking forward to it, mainly due to the felyne companion. Considering I can’t get the tunnel vision working, and not a fan of Xlink Kai, I’m stuck to playing 100% solo. Need all the help I can get.
I said this in the E3 thread as well, but I can not believe there was no hype at all by Capcom at E3 on MH3. I really hope they turn things around and attempt to market the game over here. Would hate to see it come out, just to have the servers go down 6 months later due to lack of interest.

You have to do certain quests to unlock a specific quest that will allow you into the next one
You have to complete certain guild hunts and what are essentially “boss” fights to raise the rank.
which ones? the old lady quest or the one in the G hall? bc i finish lvl 1 star in the g hall. havent done none of the old lady ones yet
