2nd Beta starts in 30 min
Man the switch axe is so damn smooth. You can go sword mode from every axe swing and it took some notes from the LS fade step and you can keep doing it after side swing.
Best sword combo feels like overhead slash > double slash and repeat. Could throw in a discharge if you want.
And of course CA stills feel busted. 
I never used GS much in the past, but Iāll probably main it along with SA. It feels amazing.
Great sword is fuckin great, canāt go wrong with it. After playing it for so long i found out itās more of a hit and run type of weapon since you become a lot slower to move when its out
Been trying to stick with the Gunlance this time but Iām having a hard time doing well with it.

Itās all about the draw strikes really. It gets a bit boring I find though. The Switch Axe has essentially the same playstyle as you usually use the sword strike straight from the draw. The Switch Axe has a lot more diversity, you canāt block with it but you donāt actually want to block with the greatsword.
I posted about it earlier but a lot of the time you just want to do overhead, sidestep, overhead. The double slash is good damage and good for charging the new discharge but itās less accurate for targetting certain body parts and leaves you vulnerable longer. You can go from sidestep into roll, you canāt roll off of double sword.
Itās not JUST about that anymore because of the new Tackle move.
Non-Great Sword users will never understand the feeling of landing a True Charged Slash on a weak point of a monster.

Still couldnāt take down ratheos (spelling wrong I know) so my squad is trash. We just started mixing and matching weapon sets to try an compliment each other. The 5 people Iāve played with only one has MH experience, and itās pretty minimal but we are all stoked for this release.
After the D2 disappointment we are all looking for the next game to grab the squad for years like D1 did. Hopefully it doesnāt dissapoint.
Itās like me as a Lancer man. Perfect parries man. Most people that donāt use the Lance donāt know how satisfying that is and the giant run up jump charge staggers are badass.
Iāll be on but on Australian servers. Weāll need to see what the netcode is like. It should be okay, Iāve played 4U with people from all over the world.
