Yeah only to be out classed by Charge Blade. That’s why I stopped fucking with it. They made changes to it so now it’s actually a decent weapon that doesn’t feel like you’re handicaping yourself. Like when using it in pre iceborne expansion.
But even so. There’s no reason to use SA over CB.
Swag Axe >>>> CB
Especially after the zero sum discharge buffs.
Dropping 2k+ damage with ease and dancing round monsters while CB bois cart doing guard points.

Yeah, I’ve been doing this. Literally made all of my CB’s I used as Dantes weapon lol, and made most of my DBs after Velkhanas, Witcher and the Guild Palace.
I am 100% so happy that Capcom did this, and because of that, I’ve literally been playing the game even more, I had 40+ Greatspirit vein gems however I’m now down to 12 because of remodeling, lmao!!!
Seriously, I don’t care, since it’s been worth every single use for modding. My goodness this update has been amazing, and the only thing left is to MR armors to become layered and the circle shall be complete!
I’ll post up a setup that I’m using specifically just because it looks so badass imo, and I’ve gotten many thumbs up from players in-game whenever I run it. It terms of “dps” efficiency, it’s not there, but it’s all about the looks, pure and simple.
I need more Research Points on the PC version, just to keep up with all the weapon remodeling.
For console, I need to farm for more Guiding Lands materials.
Yet with how time consuming that is, I’m just going to focus on maybe 2 or 3 of the main weapons that I use.

Can’t lie that seeing the B-52 was hilarious when the first pass happened. Some of those do work but it’s more of a joke than truly referencing it. Humor always reduces the amount of peril in a situation. Bazelguese will rip you a new one if not prepared. May as well get a laugh out of it
