EDIT: So Bader won via Dempsey Roll. Either he or Fedor is winning the tournament. Also, Gastelum is lucky as hell to get the nod over SĆ²uza. His submission defense and footwork need serious work. Otherwise, Bobby Knuckles is gonna body Kelvin.

Machida sniping Vitor like that was crazy. I guess not unexpected considering how nothing happened in the first round. Machida stuck to his game plan.
Kind of disappointed in Jacare. He was done after the 1st round. Kelvin is always entertaining to watch. Dude is a beast.

im super confused about the ariel thing. Like dana has been cockblocking that dude for years and they just did a new deal. Im surprised he doesnt include a fuck ariel helwani clause in every contract.
WME-IMG is in charge and they probably let Dana have his way as long as it doesnāt effect the bottom line. ESPN just gave them 150 million a year for about a 1/3 of the ufcās events. If they want Ariel, Dana may not have the juice to stop it.
weird since he seemed to have had enough juice to prevent him from doing conor vs mayweather. and most of that was in boxing and showtimes corner and showtime wanted to have him. but uncle dana blocked that.
The UFC wasnāt in the midst of negotiating a TV deal at that point. WME-IMG needs to get that 4 billion back.
If Punk wins then someone tell him to fight me for his 3rd UFC match. Iāll gladly drop weight to his weight or do a catch weight (currently 220 lbs)

The card, outside of the main event, was really entertaining. Maia fights arent exciting. If he fights a wrestler with good take defense itās going to be a boring fight of Maia getting denied and his opponent striking enough to win rounds.
