The UFC should have never offered him the fight on 6 days notice. Especially when he’s coming off an ankle injury that caused him to pull out of his last fight. I was surprised he was offered the fight to begin with. He was talking about being ready in July. He was finally cleared to start training recently. There is no way he was anywhere close to fight shape.
Shame he got released, would be good if he had to take on some heavyweights in county.

Despite all the shenanigans. The card was pretty good. Karolina and Felice put on really good fight. So did Rose and Joanna. Iaquinta was a tough guy dude, went five rounds with Khabib. Joanna is a really poor loser. At least she actually shows up to answer questions though.

Honestly, I wasn’t impressed by thug rose this go round. She had some trouble dealing with Joanna’s clinch along with those knees. Somebody like Karolina or Galdelha, ladies that are far more proficient and effective in the clinch could possibly hurt and/or finish Rose. It could be a repeat of Wanderlei/Rampage 2 all over again if Rose isn’t careful.
Karolina already beat Rose via her clinch work. Styles make fights. I think a few of the girls that Joanna beat would beat Rose.

To be honest, I’m looking forward to Bellator tonight. This looks more solid than the past few UFC PPV cards.
I’ll say what I said elswewhere. Bellator’s tag line should be “The fights you wanted ten years ago…today”
