In the lead up to her fight Rousey, Dana gave Nunes damn near zero push. I didn’t see any ads featuring Amanda until the week of the fight.
My mom doesn’t watch MMA, before the Rousey vs Holm, she knew who Holly was. They gave her great exposure in the lead up to the fight. She didn’t even know Nunes had the belt. Its a fucking joke.
Nunes should be far more popular. I mean they booked Ronda on Ellen but not their first openly gay champion. A champion who has a girlfriend that is also a top notch UFC fighter…epic fail man.
