That fighter’s retreat seemed like a horrible idea. I don’t even like getting beers with my team because they tend to wild out from time to time. Put a bunch of these fighters all in one room, who are contractually obligated to beat the shit out of each other, and you will see some dumb shit go down.
It’s probably the greatest testament to how out of touch WME-IMG is with this whole MMA thing.

Cyborg’s contract is coming up is the thing, and we have Bellator out here throwing money around, Rizin bringing her into the ring at their shows and WWE probably interested. Cyborg is pushing for this fight because she’ll have a lot of folks calling her, and GDR is trying to negotiate for more money. UFC desperately wants to keep Cyborg (if only so other promotions don’t have her), so they’re fine in not rushing her out for her next fight. GDR is just kind of caught in the middle.
