That Australian guy who fought Al Aquinta looked at least a weight division larger than Al in both height and weight. Usually taller fighters look visibly skinnier than shorter fighters in the same division but that guy looked huge.

While bummed about waifu Rika Ishige losing, ONE put on a damn good show. DJ earned that GP victory and Angela Lee has to be one of the toughest chicks on the planet. I didn’t bother to watch UFC.

Lost my nogi match today at Naga. It’s annoying because I was actually winning on position and points. I had my opponent in scarfhold and apparently he was close to tapping but I didn’t know because I only had my wife with me. She’s new to bjj so she didn’t know if she should tell me which is OK.

So I got paranoid because the ref told us to work. Honestly I should have ignored it and just stayed settled, but I moved giving him space to scramble, we got stuck in 50/50 and he heel hooked me.

Everyone on that adcc mindset. Lost my second match real quick because he saw my first match went straight for the ankle lock. I was already injured and tapped immediately. Not mad… If you see someone’s injured I’d attack it too.

I had fun and realized my double legs got better
