Mad props to my man, Kyoji Horiguchi on winning the Bellator BW title. I honestly believe that this win will give RIZIN a major boost in credibility regarding talent. It’s impossible to not include Horiguchi into the P4P ranks after last night. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get hyped over Bellator’s FW Grand Prix next year.

I got to rewatch Bellator 222 (might as well call it Bellator x RIZIN) and while I’m hype over Kyoji, I’m gutted for Rena. Girl can’t catch a break. She really needs to work on her grappling and submission defense or she’s gonna keep getting choked unconscious like she did on Friday. Otherwise, it was a pretty solid show. Rory x Neimann Gracie showed that Gracies STILL can’t strike and Lyoto stay on his Legend Killer groove by retiring Chael.
This event was honestly better than the last few UFC PPVs.

Cain came back and beat the living hell out of JDS twice. Not close to the same thing. He didn’t go into WitSec after getting smoked in a minute by JDS on broadcast TV and losing his title either.
