Danzig/Stevenson was the only fight I’m glad I was wrong about.

gsp showed koscheck what “good stand-up” actually looks like. after this and the pearson fight hopefully rogan stops saying any nigga that can throw an overhand right has “good stand-up”
So true, I was sayin that whole card every time he said it, why? Why does he have good standup? He knocked out an old ass Frank Trigg and an Asian guy. He knocked himself over with a kick, why do they keep showing that highlight? Hitting hard does not equal good stand up.
More fighters need to start fucking up eyeballs with those good ass jabs like that. It’s not like you leave yourself wide open IF you do it right.

So much Koscheck hate in here. I mean damn, give the dude some credit for stuffing GSP’s takedowns. I was praying that Kos would land an overhand right to knock him the fuck out…guess I was wrong. Oh well, looks like Shileds is next then Silva.
I was rolling when Danzig KO’d Stevenson. Besides Hazelett getting subbed and the Alves/Howard fight going the distance, that was the 3rd biggest surprise of the night.
Looks like I have to rely on Shields to take away the gold from Canada…I hope to god that Shields actually comes in healthy.
The talk was the reason I was going for Koscheck in the first place :lol: just like how I was going for Hardy because he shit talked.
really enjoyed the card. all the fights were good. GSP is godlike.
I also was kinda eeempressed by Koscheck’s takedown defense. Not too shabby vs GSP. I personally felt like his gameplan should have been to wrestle with GSP… at least as far as wrestling the skill level is close. Striking wise, only thing Koscheck could hope for was a looping punch to connect. GSP’s chin is standard, nothing special or some people argue maybe even slightly lower than average from the Matt Serra fight… but its a trap since its ridiculously hard to land on him.
Jake Shields is literally the only one left in the WW division to fight GSP that isnt a rematch. I better see him use that damn black belt. Sometimes I wonder if he knows he has a BJJ black belt and not a black belt for being a blanket.
