BTW I love love love the Dragon but don’t see his baby short arms doing much to Jones. He doesn’t have one punch KO power even tho he blasted evans. And I don’t at all see him getting Jones to the floor he can train JUDO all day long for the next 5 months.
These are my number 4# and 5# fave fighters so I have been thinking about this for awhile and don’t see Lyoto’s hit and quickly move style working because he has to get in close to hit Jones and Jones has such long arms he can just hit him everytime Lyoto back away with his hands away from his face ( which drives me nuts).
Plus Lyoto is going to have a hard time getting close anyway because Jones is not gonna let him in easily and I would fully expect Jones to try and out elusive (eluse?) the Dragon and with his reach it’s not crazy to think he can pull it off.
I just don’t see how Lyoto is this nightmare match for Jones as I love both guys so much I have looked at this fight in my head for quite some time now.
Yeah I used to hang out (by hang out I mean “read”) the diet/supp and the gear section (especially when I was putting together my garage), but I sure as hell don’t go there to read their regular posts. I get enough of the runoff here nowadays with all of the recent new posters. =(
Anderson is not JJ. I’m tired of people making this comparision. They are both lanky black dudes…that’s it… that’s where the comparisions end because they are very different fighters with very different skillsets.
When ever I hear that I just facepalm. Anderson is a Thai machine who’s great at jits whereas Jones is a Gretco machine who’s great at distance fighting to keep foes off balance and better set up takedowns.
I’m black so how am I racist? That seems like the only thing thats really similar about them because they seem very different to me. And how am I not calm? I was laughing my ass off with my family on the phone lol I guess I still post somehow to aggressive for people?
But yeah that vid seems like him dicking around with friends and training partners I got a good laugh out of it but it means he can do what likely most other fighters do. Mimic stances and whatnot still doesn’t prove he can fight like Jones at all.
I hope this is sarcasm and he’s not really sorry (like I’m important enough to apoligize to lulz). But yeah I’ll try to be more focused on your brand of sarcasm since I seemed to miss it in that post if that was what you were doing.
I can never really be mad at someone who has such a sweet Doom (my main Marvel character since like 05 and still is in 2011) avy. That thing is so awesome.
I never said the Rashad fight is off I didn’t care to check so whatever but I do know both Jones and Rashad are nursing injuries. Rashad’s hand is still injured which is just perfect irony btw.
I was just happy to share my feeling on a potential Jones Machida fight after Bones runs through Rashad. Feel free to stay burthurt about Anderson being Goat tho.
LOL at stupid people saying LHW isn’t stacked anymore. This is what a dominant champion does to a division I guess. I hear the same stupid things about middleweight and sometimes even welterweight because “oh if the champ beats up everyone so easy it must not have very good fighters derp”.
I gotta be honest…I expected it to take longer and two more Bones title defenses before people started using that argument.
