I think heād have to fight Chael again as far as leaving a perfect legacy, the last fight just left too many what-ifs. Iām not entirely convinced he needs to fight GSP for that, though. Iād rather see him move up and take the 205 title, (or even HW lol) that size difference is more than people realize, and GSPās best chance would just be to use Sonnenās gameplan anyway. Itās become real clear that youāre not gonna strike with him, or even setup takedowns on the feet. You just need to tank him early on and have an excellent wrestling base. The instant you stop moving forward and start letting him time you, youāre already dead.
Sadly Iād probably pick Sonnen to lose by the same exact submission even earlier in the fight in a rematch. Story of his whole career, lol.
Seriouslyā¦ Okami looked awful. Plus, why does everyone go for a strike on Silva when he does Cross Counter? Dropping his hands, you know hes just watching your body to throw a straight to your jaw as soon as your body moves for a punch. Sidekick that crap to keep your head away or go for a takedown or just back up. I dunnoā¦ its just like how people chase Machida and fall into what he wants but with a lower success rate since you can still maybe hit Machida when he evades.
