Still, I wonder how a fight with Machida would go differently now? I think Rampage would be more of the same, tbh. But we know he isn’t going to try and strike with Machida again, at least not in the same sense as last time. I don’t see him using that goofy monkey stance again in that matchup, he’ll get kicked right in the teef. Makes me wonder if he can work his wrestling against someone that can skate away that quickly? I’m not sure how he would approach that, not ruling him out or making a prediction, I’m just not sure how that fight would pan out exactly.
I said it during the Rashad fight. If Rampage’s fist even clips Machida, the nigga could go night night. Rampage after that fight had better work on his speed. Niggas ain’t gonna stand around and trade with him. And he better work his wrestling. Cause I know for certain that if he fights Rashad again as he is, he is going to lose.
Machida better just walk backwards all day and take pot shots. If he thought Shogun knocked him out…lol.

I think Machida is going to circle like crazy, frustrate Rampage, then catch him with a punch that will give him a knock down. Then get on top of Rampage for a small flurry until Ref. stoppage. I honestly don’t care who wins this, I like both fighters. But Rampage, like everyone said, isn’t going to evolve his game and that’s going to cost him the W.
