Jorge Masvidal Discusses His Upcoming Fight With KJ Noons

He wants a title shot…
On Working For A Title Shot : “I’m definitely not overlooking K.J. Noons. I want to take care of the guy in front of me, but definitely I’m also looking at the bigger picture and bigger payday. Obviously, I’ll get more money for a title and a lot more exposure.”
On His Strategy : “I’m coming to hit and move. You know my style . I’m coming in there to look pretty and leave looking pretty. I’m going to hit him and make him miss. K.J. is more of a puncher, brawler type. But we’re both looking to stand and bang and dish out punishment.”
On KJ Noons : “He’s definitely a tough guy,” he said. “You wouldn’t say he’s a pure boxer from what I’ve seen. He’s a puncher, brawler, and throws from weird angles and swings for the fences. He’s definitely solid. I like guys who put on pressure. I like guys who want to rip my head off. That’s when I really can put my skills into play. It makes it easier on me. K.J. is a good dude,” he said. “He’s a fighter. I respect that. It’s nothing personal. I want to take his head, but I respect him.”
This dude crazy,Noons is going to light his ass up.

Hoping KJ does more than punching in this fight.
I agree with you here, not sure why they keep jumping around Daley vs Noons as it’s bound to end like Rocky 3

Josh Barnett Licensed To Fight This Weekend For Strikeforce

So says the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation…
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has issued a license to to Strikeforce heavyweight Josh Barnett to fight at Saturday’s Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum. Susan Stanford , the Public Information Officer for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation had the following to say about Barnett’s license, which is good for one year…
*“He has met all the requirements. So he’s ready to go.” *
Barnett was required to provide the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation with a clean drug test in addition to the usual pre-fight paperwork as a condition of his licensure. Strikeforce, like the UFC when they run in Texas, will conduct independent drug testing since the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation does not do routine drug testing.
Wow Barnett is gonna fight after all, huh? Gotta think he’ll be able to take care of Rogers, at least.

I actually have gifs numbering in the hundreds in a back log that I’ve been meaning to use. And to my knowledge, no one in GD has used them. Plus I gotta save some for the day embedding goes away. SRK niggas these days dont have any style or tact when it comes to embedding.** The Rap thread is a prime example. That’s the main reason I stopped going in there as much.**
Nah son you stopped coming when you aint download the new b.pumper mixtape.
I think the better question is who the fuck cares about pumper?
He’s the Black Necro and has the same level of talent

Rap thread is that way -->
Watching Barnett fix that guy’s nose with pens was kinda freaky. Not really that it can be done, but rather that Barnett was the one to do it.

It would be kinda interesting. The thing is, I kinda think they’d have to make it easier in order for it to be more approachable to FG people. (I feel kinda dirty saying that they’d have to dumb something down for the fighting game crowd, when that statement is usually used for the Halo/CoD’ers of the world)

I have a feeling Overeem is going to send Werdum to the hospital.

I’d crack up if Werdum won that fight by (T)KO.
Even if it was injury, just seeing Werdum’s record with a TKO win over Overeem would be hilarious for me.

Jon Jones vs. Quinton Jackson confirmed for UFC 135
That’s actually looking like it will be a decent card. I read somewhere that Edgar/Maynard 3 will be on there as well?
I have to agree i think Overeem’s power will move worlds.

I remember two years ago, Santana Moss of the Redskins said that he did MMA in the offseason to help him during the regular season.
Also, I think the Overeems are going to win their matches and I’m going with Rogers for the upset. :looney:
… and the gfx still look like shit

What the hell happend to Mike Brown? Dude went from #1 in his division to on the verge of getting cut. It felt like either his division stepped the fuck up or he hasnt improved at all.
And Akiyama/Belfort should be the co-main instead of Franking/Nog.
