Goldberg and Rogan make the perfect team.
More often than any other announcer, Rogan knows what he’s talking about in regards to technique. Goldberg brings the “Did you know that…?” aspect, and he serves to get Rogan to talk about pertinent information. “Joe, how can he escape this?”, “Joe, what effect does that type of choke have on you?” etc.
Joe is awesome, dudes his commentary is always on point, his comedy is great, and his podcast is good car noise.
Goldberg is like face Michael Cole. I can take or leave him.
LOL WEC announcer guy is no where on page 1-4 google, so that’s his name.
I liked WEC guy and Stephen Bonnar too, good team. WEC Guy and Pat Militech would be a good team. Fuck throw in Randy as a third guy, his fight insights are always on point.
who the fuck hates the voice. he has more enthusiasm for k1 than every asian in japan. lol though these days thats not sayin much. he literally makes me want to like certain fights i really have no buisness liking. mma needs more guys like him, he’s basically the spanish announcer yelling goooooal but for english people.
Schiavello comes across as a non-douchebag version of Mauro Renallo. All the crazy hyperbole stays intact, but I haven’t heard him openly berate or argue with co workers on air once yet. Mauro is just a gigantic tool and needs to get punched in the face.
Bas is just crazy, period. I don’t think he makes the best announcer, but he’s easily the most entertaining one to listen to for different reasons.
And JR would never be able to commentate on MMA, every double leg would be like SPEAR! SPEAR! MY GOD WHAT A SPEAR!
JR is actually super well informed about mma in general.
and considering how well he made the transition from college sports to wwe,i think we would all benefit from him jumping ship.
