In the DREAM MW GP he proved he’d become something amazing. With each fight the guy improves drastically. That up kick won’t happen twice.
I’ve always known he’d be a force in MMA watching his whole BJJ career, his style was bred for that shit. That’s 2 title defenses in, WHO’S NEXT?
dammit, josh rosenthal
expect an early stoppage
diaz absorbs about a dozen flush leg kicks and walks cyborg down anyways. This is delicious!
I don’t think Diaz will need the help.
Fuck Cyborg don’t gas!
Was he talking shit to Cristine? Or was he talking shit to someone else in the stands? Looked like a pitcher’s worth of beer came flying back at him from whoever he was talking to.
Why is it SO EFFECTIVE?
Dude is a tank. Can’t even hate. When you can kick someone like that and they STILL come at you like nothing happened thats pretty amazing.
Am I the only one that thought Lady Cyborg was fuckable tonight?:shake: Not hot. Just fuckable.
I’ve had a man-crush (?!) on her for years, so she was pretty hot tonight in my eyes
Don’t judge me
He’d definitely be the underdog against the top 5 in the UFC, but his stand-up would probably be effective against the non-grapplers in the division I’d think…too bad there aren’t many of those at 170, lol.
I dunno, man. Koscheck’s superior looping overhead? is not as impressive as Mike Goldberg says it is.
Wrestlers will always be Diaz’ Achilles’s heel…who’s next for him? Might as well fight Mayhem.
Diaz is a beast and all… but im not even sure if he beats Dong Hyun Kim. I still want to emphasize that he is still a beast
Is that sodium in the air tonight?
Strikeforce card was pretty entertaining tonight as a whole. Both Cyborgs came out looking good tonight; the normally-only-slightly-less-masculine one looked very nice tonight, and her hubby showed up to fight for sure.
People looked at me funny when I laughed as he took down Diaz.
IMO, Diaz would finish Koscheck, Fitch *and *Alves. Fitch would give him the most trouble for sure, but the other two would be easy subs, because they sure as hell aren’t knocking him out.
Stockton, “209 BITCH” Nick Diaz SCARED?! Not when he got the Cesar Gracie Crew behind him!
Koscheck is easily the best wrestler he would have ever faced, and I don’t see him getting caught in a sub. Alves’ striking is way above Evangelista’s and he was able to give Diaz trouble tonight. Plus with his new diet, I don’t see him having any cardio issues. Fitch is… I mean come on, it’s FITCH. He’s probably never gonna lose until he fights GSP again lol.
I can see all three of those guys handling Diaz, and I think Daley could knock him out too if he ever fights him. But I am a known and admitted Diaz hater, so I guess take it with a grain of salt lol.
Yeah yeah- Keep fronting like he wouldn’t tap either of those two with the quickness as soon as it touched the mat. :nunchuck:
Fitch has better control on the ground, and that’s really the only reason I think he’d give Diaz trouble. He might wrestlefuck him, but I can’t see Diaz ever actually being in trouble for the whole of the hypothetical fight.
Alves could possibly deck him because Diaz is dumb enough to stand and trade with people, even when he shouldn’t. Unfortunately, there’s no denying that he’s not the sharpest cookie in the harbor.
Don’t get me wrong, all of them could potentially beat him, in the same way that they could have potentially beaten GSP. It’s not like there’s zero chance (even regardless of the fact that it’s MMA and that anything can happen), it’s just that I see Diaz being able to handle either of them on the ground.
It’s all opinion anyway, and like it was stated, he’s re-signed with Strikeforce. It’s pretty obvious he’s better than a lot of people in here who shall remain nameless ( :clown:) will ever admit. He’s got an open invitation back to the UFC, and that has to say something.
lol mayhem
[details=Spoiler]
But yeah, rofl @ referring to some fight with Mayhem, like that match should actually happen for whatever random-ass reason you have stuck in your head. Why does that fight make sense again? Oh, right; because some nobody on MTV with a loss to Tim Kennedy said he thinks it should. Regardless, didn’t Diaz even say recently that if they made it worth doing, he’d put on the weight to scrub Mayhem even further into irrelevance?
If Mayhem wanted to fight, he could put his fat ass on a diet instead of eating so much okonomiyaki after beating up on grandpa Saku. I’m surprised he hasn’t lost the 15 pounds already with all the dancing he’s done around the fact that he doesn’t deserve a shot at his own weight class, much less a champ in another one.
Mmm, salt [/details]
edited for something or another.
I have been defeated.
Anyone heard anything about Matt Arroyo and his BJJ Manifesto / online jiujitsu classes or whatever it is?
I had signed up to his newsletter a while ago when I was looking up some positions online and then I got spammed with like 6 emails in the last day about how I only have a few hours left to pay him money to get access to his videos that are probably already linked elsewhere.
Just wondering if anyone has ever seen any of his stuff and had an opinion on the quality of it? I didn’t think it was particularly great, at least what little I saw.
Man I was just waiting for Rock to jump on you after that
That’s low, Rock. Damn low.
Mousasi needs to keep his ass at 185…“getting too big” my ASS! Nigga is just too lazy to cut the weight!
