Where the hell did you guys get that it was heavyweights, anyway? This is the only place on the internet that thinks (thought?) that.
If Brock Lesnar was my coach I’d ask for my money back.
Well, those and Season 6 with Serra and Hughes.
Brock has a good coaching staff I think he needs to give the reigns of coaching to his coach. Like Rashad and GSP did.
lol funny ass ko’s…its all about the 1:00 mark

JDS Coaching Staff > Brock Lesnars.
I have a feeling Brocks team working on the same stuff Koscheck had his team doing. Cardio/Strength nonstop. JDS should have an interesting staff himself considering the people he trains with. Im semi excited.
lol chuck liddell on blue mountan state…doin cartwheels…is that a callout to diego sanchez haha.
lol…well its clear brock only heard one thing from erik and thats arm triangle.
I wish they’d get real coaches on the show like Erik Paulson. If they wanna have someone like Brock in some kind of “leading” spot have him as a team captain of sorts but let someone more qualified to coach.
Anyone see this parody of action movie stars in the UFC?

I thought it was goofy at first, but by the time I got to the end I was like…“Dana! Make it happen!”
Yup. I saw it about one page ago. When I posted it.
Tong Po is a baaaad dude.
need some strikeforce fantasy brackets for the gp
SF GP just got dumber.
Alistair Overeem’s title is not on the line during the Strikeforce World Grand Prix Heavyweight… - MMA Mania
Why make him fight in the tourney if the belt is not up for grabs? I mean, he essentially can’t lose the belt until much later, even if he loses his first fight. I can’t make sense of that.
I still think the GP is a great idea (I think Bellator’s on the right track with their mini-tournaments), but this decision doesn’t make much sense. Why not make it so that he can lose the belt, and the winner of the tournament ends up with it? Really pretty simple. Sure it might get a little WWE-ish with the belt changing hands so frequently until an “undisputed” champion is crowned, but still.
Pride GP’s were 1x10 min and 1x5 min round. I don’t see the problem.
oh strikeforce shenanigans continue…just when you think they got it right…hoooly fuck haha. scott coker is doin dat coke. is he also their strikeforce?
I don’t understand what you’re saying. What do Pride’s tourneys have to do with Strikeforce’s?
Personally, I don’t care if it’s 1x5 minute rounds. If Overeem loses his match, he should lose his belt. Otherwise, they should find a replacement for him in the tourney. That’s just the way that I see it.
naw the title should only be up for grabs if it’s a tourny for the title…like no one has it and everyone is competing for it. Not just the guy that fights overeem gets it.
I guess not, but wasn’t 'Reem awarded a belt at the end? Or am I thinking of something else? (likely)
the winner of the tourney will win a tournament belt as well as a shot at Overeem. 2 belts look cooler than 1
OK, gotcha. I guess that makes more sense, but I still think it just kinda makes sense to have the belt on the line if the champion is in it - especially if the end result is a title shot. Seems kinda strange to me with the last part.
