Hey guys,
Not sure if anyone has posted this here but i’m working on a CGI short film called The Message ad we released a teaser trailer for it a few weeks back. The Story is about how information technology has enabled creatives and visionaries in ways that weren’t capable before. As beneficial as technology can be for the creative individual, delivering ones message will never be without struggle. The story itself is a microcosm of my own experiences so far as well as the the road in front of me to get where I want to go. So far it’s been featured on Gizmodo, Kotaku and The Awesomer. Please have a look if you get a chance.
Could you explain what it is about? And why we should care beyond it looking pretty?

Sounds intriguing, you should have put that in the first post
I have few questions… What will the finished products running time be? When do you plan to release it? Is this purely animated or do you have voice actors as well? How long have you been working on this project? The visuals are nice, did you do that yourself as well?
Hey there. The full running time is about 6 minutes and will be released by next november if our kickstarter gets funded. There is no dialogue in the short but it has been created in the form of a music video which lyrics give clues about the story. So far we have about 3-4 minutes of footage completed and i’ve been working on it with a friend for about 2 years in our spare time.
Will see this when it comes out.
Also stop by ultrachen to talk about the old days again part 2
Will see the movie tho
Really nice CGI. Wouldn’t have guessed that it was.
dont care what this is, take my money, looks fecking beyond awesome
Thanks for the kind words, guys. As for UltraChen, James and David want to do it too so I guess it’s just a matter of time until we get our schedules lined up.
Here is another still from the short. Again, 100% CGI and has about 80,000 animated characters in the crowd simulation. If you like the teaser and want to support, please tell people about it and share on other forums. Every little bit goes a long way.
