I actually find MB hard to play, but in a weird way. You need to really comfortable with the engine and the physics of the game or you will drop openings left and right, and a lot of mid-level games come down to whoever misses fewer opportunities.
Then again I have no idea what communities you people are talking about; the only one I know of is the channel run by Beasts Lair heads on Pyoko and I stay far the fuck away from that.
This game didn’t make sense to me for the longest time because all I needed to know was j.C x 3 and 623+C from half a damn screen away. Now a days, after spending hours on the phone with Saiyd, the game is finally making sense.
Wait, theres an arcade in Cali for MBAC? I live in Union City/Fremont, where the fuck is it and how long would it take for a drive?!
And this game was actually EASIER for me to pick up and learn the system then lets say, CvS2 and it’s crazy CC/Canceling/Juggling shit… Maybe I have potential in this game O.O
If I were to get Re-ACT Final Tuned, would I still be able to play AC on a competitive level? My PS2 is broken and I can barely afford to do anything with the tight budget I’m on, so I’m to go for the PC route(I don’t even have a windows computer. >_>)
Also, how different are the two compared to each other? I planned on using Shiki(This is before I found out he was god tier or something, never played the game) when I got it, so if you could tell me if I even have a chance in AC after playing MBPC, I’d be pretty happy.
Guys Im still around dont think I aint!!! Im experimenting with Aoko some more thnaks to ZTB and Warc getting more of a feel for the game! There is a good chance MBAC will be at FRX because Mr. Mammation is bringing it to Final Round X! Its a shame the NYC crew won’t be able to go up to play it…but I guess I’ll see you guys come TS7 no??
There’s probably only two arcades in California that has it and both of them are in SoCal. Arcade Infinity which has it on a Japanese/American hybrid machine. (Stand up with Japanese Sticks.) And Interf@ce which has it currently on Japanese h2h setup with happ sticks.
Woooo! crazy games at AI tonight. Of course, nobody could throw or parry on the right side, which made things interesting, but I definitely had some eye-opening games with linalys. Fricking Miyako is a flying ball of priority. D=<
Also, curious about Akiha semi-relaunch combos; even though it was invalid, where exactly was the breakout frame, on bounce or at the apex of the launch? I saw Invalid apear after the first bounce but theres no way to tech. I guess its like nero’s 5b to jABC.
