The 5C is more damage, without it is easier. I actually found it easy to do when i played warc for a while but I think i can see how it can be tricky.
i don’t see how not having 5c would make the combo easier. 5c is there as a stabilizer, as well as to assure damage (like furix said).
as i said earlier, the standard warc combo is xx, 2c, 5c > ja, jb (1 hit), jc > ja, jb (1 hit), jc > throw with the second ja removed sometimes depending on height.
EDIT: bleh, i forgot to include 5c in the combo notation. my post made no sense without it.
Well my problem is that I can get the j.b’s in there, but I get too high up when the combo is done, thus I can’t throw, so I omit the 5.C and am given more space to work with.
I have that problem like 50 percent of the time with that combo. Im just sticking to the ABC ABC throw.
Well, like I said. I think xx > 2c > 5c > j.A j.B j.C > JC > j.A j.B j.C > Throw is not only easier, but they are both about as equal damaging. I think this one is stronger though.
But I guess you could do whichever one you find better.
Beleive it or not the B(2 hit) C dj.B(2 hit) C is actually the standard one, check out ILS/TTK as well as a few other jap warc players. It’s really not hard and imo it’s a staple of playing warc. If you can’t even do this then your warc won’t get far, practice it out. ABC dj. ABC is ok for a while but the other one is really not hard to do consistently, it’s not hard like v.sion 2C 5C 623B which even jap players fail on or mech hisuis ridiculous bnbs.
Mech Hisui’s shit is stupid hard.
Seriously, my brain hurts just thinking about it.
D:
i just got react a while ago and its hella good. any tips for verm akiha? also how do you save replays in react? for some reason i cant
There should be an option to save a replay after every vs match. What version are you playing?
i like how that one SBO Mech Hisui was doing TK’ed jetpack FAST AS HELL
while we are talking about hard combos…
Arcueid’s 4b loop combo! D:… even japanese players miss it… all the time D:
I can’t figure out HOW THE FUCK they DO IT.
i think you mean 4b loop… i mean yea, you use 5b also. but you know what i mean.
jajjaj
yes well yeah lol edited now
jajajajajajaja
Man Chibi even I know how to do that (I just can’t do it consistently because I suck).
Do the first jetpack as 2368A or 2367A, and then do the rest of them as [2]369A. If you hold 2 for more than 12 frames, the super jump will not come out. It’s some ghetto charge partitioning; the timing is not nearly as strict.
This is why you would randomly see me throw them out in spurts.
by the way, my ps2 save file got corrupted a week ago
it’s so unpleasant to play arcade with characters you care next to nothing about…
A couple of questions.
-
With Neco-arc being so shitty is there really anything worth unlocking? If so what and how?
-
Is there any benefit in using 2AB instead of shield to dodge an attack? Other than not losing meter whats the use for 2AB dodge? I havent seen it used in any vids or anything.
-
Other than that guy on Tales of ils @SBO are there any other decent REDarc players out there?
Thanks for your time.
-
Even if you don’t like Neco Arc, unlocking her will also unlock her stage. So yes, it’s worth it. Beat arcade mode with each character in the game.
-
Dodging is really situational. You don’t see it being used often, although some are much better than others (i.e. Miyako, Len).
-
It’s not so much that Ils’s team won SBO because he was godly (although he is a excellent player)… It had more to do with the fact that Warc is overpowered in version A. There are fair amount of Warc players in Japan, and they usually go pretty far in tournaments so finding vids shouldn’t be much of a problem.
i think you can use the 2AB as a buffer for any motion starting with 2 so you dont have to do the full motion when you counter someone’s offensive
