In other news settle on an AV or better yet finish the new TLK AV or get an infraction >=O
Also, bubz
I think that’s his 10th AV change in less than 2 months.
The Shikis are the same guy, jut different personalities.
psh, doesn’t matter. both shiki are lame (yea i said it).
probably the least execution intensive characters in the game. similar thing can be said about kouma, except he lacks offensive options compared to the rest of the cast so you need to be hella patient to play him.
i’m actually over-exaggerating, but whatevs. shiki sucks.
You suck. >_>
i know. i’m a hater sometimes. i think i just have something against generic male characters in general. damn ryu/ken/SOL/ky/jin/kazuya/etc. :annoy:
actually, ky used to be my secondary in gg. that was back in #r days though.
plz blv
I said this to a couple of Nanaya players and they stabbed me in the face over the Internet. There’s more subtley there than people want to give credit.
Then again, if you play Aoko everyone else looks easy-mode. :\
Fixed.
Kayin: Show up to the next TGA ranbat, wafflecheese.
really, wow wouldnt have guessed that.
Fine fine, I’ll get started on the new TLK designs tonight. I’m going to do away with the blood theme though, I don’t think it works well anymore. It’ll still be red / white / black mind you.
And there’s only one Nanyaya I’m afraid of (or that I’ve ever been afraid of). He knows who he is.
YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAY
FLIPMODE SON~~~~~~~
Wow. The TGA qualifier sounds like a free trip to Japan for MBAC players, especially those old school players or players that actually have competition for this game. Hell, having a SBO qualifier for this game is simply amazing. It’s a blessing considering that North America doesn’t even have a tournament scene all for this game. With that said, you motherfuckers better show up!!
I can tell you there are probably five people who would go to that qualifier. I’m one of them. If TGA does have a qualifier for it I’m 1,000% going to bust my ass to win it.
Noone on the WC plays it anymore though, but there’d probably be some random GG heads who would try and learn the game in a week to get a trip to Japan.
Before this has any chance of getting out of hand, let me iterate that right now the only games that TGA is offically running SBO qualifiers for right now is T5:DR and 3S. MB:AC is just a possibility at this point (the fact that they’re even willing to consider it is something, though). A lot still needs to go right, although they are getting a MB:AC ver.B cabinet, and I would bet lots of cheeseburgers that MB:AC will be at SBO this year.
I don’t think it’ll be a walk for anyone though. You know if that happened people would step their games up – original players looking to represent, top players from other games looking for the ‘easy buck’, etc…
I think Canadians are allowed to enter too. :V
Those five people ARE the original players, we never stopped playing it. Shit I remember entering that thread two years back, meeting Vic that same year, playing Saiyd for the first time, it’s the same five people. Outside of that I’m not sure anyone gives enough of a damn to learn the game, even with the incentive of a qualifier. I’ve lost count of how many people have been bothering me with questions on the game, but hell maybe this will finally stir up some love.
Haha, and I just got done talking to Saiyd about how the game reads inputs shitty / oddly with sick. Regardless, looks like I’ll have to drop playing pad all together.
This means I have to set up my buttons like so:
A–B--C
D------E
Correct; E being the throw button or what have you?
YOUR MOM, CHIBI
Starting for a scene for a game that has literally zero exposure in the US is difficult (completely unlike laser). Who knows. I think we’ll be lucky if this game gets as much exposure as KoF in the US – but that isn’t going to stop people from trying. I have never been one to play a game just because everyone else plays it. I’ve played America’s most popular fighter, I’ve played America’s least popular fighter, I’ve hacked together my own, I really don’t give a shit.
Didn’t the MB tourney at Evo this year have over 30 people in it, though (including a couple of Japanese players)?
As for the controls, you know better than that. :V
MY MOTHER IS AWESOME, THXUVERYMUCH
Well we’ll see what happens.
As for the MB tournament at EVO, I believe it was more like 16 people, and Ruu’s Len ‘won’ (though I heard the tournament didn’t officially finish thanks to other people playing other games and what not).
And are you fucking serious about why Bell’s board got shut down?
Yes, I had it in the back of my mind that it might not even happen. At the least, I’d hope that we would have enough players so if the qualifier would occur, it could happen. However, since it sounds like the west coast probably isn’t going to show up, then it might be risky to come. Lord knows I don’t want to be stuck and stranded in the most neglected and obscure state in America. D:
Hmmmmm, maybe. Team UK 3s won the SBO European qualifier, but that was technically for all of Eupore. In case, don’t have to worry about it since I’m American anyway.
Well, the WC people still play, we’re just not… as active as you guys, I guess, haha. As for the TGA qualifier thing, I’d like to go, but I can probably think of a lot more people that’d be more qualified than me to join, heh. That, and it’s too far
Yeah, there are WC players but as rody said, our scene just isn’t as active. I’d honestly love to go to the TGA qualifier but aside from it being too far, I’m a little short on cash.
I am actually interested in that qualifier…indeed…
