also, are there any discussions on the jpn forums youve been reading about iad and airdash techniques. i use a combination of 9>6 or 7>4 and the command form (6/4+ab). mostly 9>6 though, but ive been having trouble adapting that from my saitek (R.I.P) to stick/ps2 pad.
I was messing around with a+b but problems come in when you’re holding an orb with one of them.

I haven’t played this game for the past 4 days. I’ve been playing Slash with some buddies for the past 2 nights. But now that I’m back home I can spend more time with it. Also, how does one calculate R. Damage in training mode? I don’t remember if that was part of the display.

ugh, switch to [c] then. it can be done during frames where commands & inputs cant be registered (i.e. start of jump/backdash/foward dash, an attack youve already used in a combo/block string). im still trying to condition myself into taking advantage of those opportunities. orb-buffering is sick. :looney:

Those are good ways to start off those pages. I’m liking the Ciel changes too but I wish they didn’t remove the clash properties on some of her moves.
For Sion you can add 90% forced proration on 214B (instead of 100%), also there is no proration on 623B and 623C even in version B and the 421B is no longer normal or special cancelable but still can be canceled into EX/Arc Drive.
To be more precise on the 5[C] change, it has 90% forced proration on both hits, 0.9x0.9=0.81 so you get that for second hit if you start a combo with it but that’s a little different if you use it during a combo that have prorated before.
Also Sion’s (or any other character i think) 214D is not special cancelable on whiff in version A (i guess you’re not talking on the first frame because baras are still in the game), but it’s no longer special cancelable on block/hit.
Also lol a the 6B change, only 5 characters got 2A that hit low enough to get owned by that invincibilty if they mash 2A.
EDIT : i forgot, you didn’t note the damage change of 5[C] which goes from 1200/1000 (red dmg 800/750) to 1000/900 (red dmg600/500).
Another change i forgot to add is that charged 6B bounces standing opponents at any distance now.
Ciel’s 5c5c was cancelable in final tuned. It could have been removed and returned though.

That combo only works on crouching characters, and probably large characters in the corner. You can’t even do it if you start off with a dash on standing Aoko midscreen. Didn’t test with everyone though. What combo does less than 2500? Even 2abc 5ba air does 3000.
Edit: Leave out the 4c and you get 4100 on a standing Aoko miscreen.
Yeah i know but even with that i don’t like to edit people work without having them knowing first, it’s done now.
Also can anyone confirm the point on the 214D, maybe there is something i missed.
It’s just EX cancelable in FT (same in AC ver A), now you can also cancel it into specials as well.
I think the cancel window is wider too.
