Apparently she had an infinite in the guide book version of her iirc. O.o
Whether it is out or not in the final version is anyone’s guess, but I’m sure some broke shit will be found with her after release going by how she sounds.
Oh wow, you’re right. Feral Crouch > Low Sweep links into itself and is not affected by hitstun scaling. How the hell could they make a move like that and not see the obvious consequences?
Well, the guide lists 3 infinites, but I think she only has one loop in her final version. I doubt they kept Feral Crouch > Low Sweep, they could’ve just added a lot of pushback to prevent an infinite. But she definitely has a loop during her install, just look at that partial combo on the previous page I posted. Just think about it, she can cancel out of hitstun into her dash, into specials back into her dash maximizing the hitstun of every move. Basically she says F.U. to hitstun scaling. Her Mad Beast “infinite” was (is?) :qcf:+:l: dash cancel :qcf:+:m: x N. Basically that’s what she does in the trailer, only instead of doing a loop she continues the combo with other moves. This definitely works, unless Cartweel Kick does an air reset the second time, or something :lol:.
I was jut going over the guide yesterday and saw this. soooo yeah. I wish we had a video of that corner infinite just for display
Double Knee Drop infinite will probably be gone, but the Low Sweep infinite is a one frame link, therefore, it will probably stay. Any infinite with Mad Beast will be in her final build since it costs 3 meters and only lasts 10 seconds, you better be able to do some serious damage.
Looking in the guide, low sweep only does 45,000 damage. It may be an infinite, but it’ll be like El Fuerte’s RSF: Impractical after so many hits thanks to damage scaling and the damage is poor enough as it is.

Friends just called to tell me Jill and Shuma are playable at a kiosk in Grand Central Station right now in NY as promotion by Capcom for the game. If you are in the area head over and grab some footage.

do you guys think seth will try and show off some stuff with jill that could make her look like a better character then her trailer led us to believe?
my team needs a fast character to balance it out and jill could be the one to go alongside arthur/sentinel(someone told me she’s great for building meter and since her hypers suck she doesn’t really need them that much or rely on them so you can use her to gain meter for your other two characters)
jill is a tech character. so if you throw out too many fast attacks, and not keep track of which ones put you in a F.C state, you could suffer painfully from an instant overhead, and i believe like 5 of her attacks are rediculously unsafe to use. you just gotta spend like 3 days getting used to her inputs
as for her reveal, I see it the same way i did everyone else. a simple 9 hit combo, all their attacks showcased, and thats about it. people need to back up off Shuma’s tentecles because they saw an unfinished character, and since then couldn’t change the way they looked at jill. }=<
sounds like i might have to consider shuma gorath or sticking with wolverine instead
lol noooo jill is still a beast. once you are able to do her moves on command, she seems to be insane. in fact, if you seen two of the vids with her gameplay theres an instant mixup into super combo for lots of damage.
and also her teleport is invincible during movement. so if you were, lets say, in front of an enemy while in F.C, you could in theory teleport behind them into a combo.
not to mention her command grab is juuuust a DP motion, meaning you could use it quicker, then… lets say haggar or Wesker’s throw upon mental recognition. like i said, give Jill like a good week and see if you can get her flow. and if not, and you dont get anything about here, hit me up on PSN and ill be sure to have had some basic Bnbs down by then
i am just in real need of the perfect third character for my team
and at this point it could be jill shuma or wolverine(maybe akuma)
Jill looks amazing, but DEFINITELY not going to be a simple character to do damaging combos with. She looks like one of the most technical members of the cast with all the Feral Crouch and Teleport cancels. Not that’s bad, but don’t expect to win with her Day 1.
