$10 for the Jill/Shuma pack, but if you’re smart, you just get the CE so you get them for free.
Isn’t the CE about $10 more expensive? In what sense is that ‘free’? PS, is there any sign of a European CE release?
You either see it as paying for all the stuff in the CE and the characters are free or see it as paying for the characters, but get all the CE stuff for free. Up to you really.
Because the CE box is worth 10$ so the DLC that comes with it is free.

This is fucking Marvel vs Capcom 3. I want a pretty case. The DLC characters make it so worth it its an obvious buy.
Plus, if you buy games through amazon, you’d probably have a 10 or 20 dollar gift card by now. I managed to snag the CE for 50 bucks with free, release date delivery…

I know it is a little bit early to talk about frame data, but seeing that the MvC3 Official Strategy Guide has the frame data (provided the frame data is actually correct), do you think we can get Jill and Shuma frame data from Capcom directly?
Yes, they didn’t do it with SSFIV (the frame data in the guides was not entirely correct), but seeing how they actually share some info (including the frame data) about the SSFIV: Nerf Edition now, I think they could do it. Granted its Capcom we are talking about, but I’m just not seing any other way.
Having no frame data would severely handicap anyone who tries to play Jill or Shuma after DLC drops (as if they weren’t already, with the full month of waiting before you can start practicing). It will be BB:CS all over again. Collecting frame data manually, by using 60 FPS vids might take a while, plus it is really hard to calculate the active frames.
I hope Jill doesn’t turn out doing some Matrix, Equelibrium bull shit…That would be pretty cheesy…
No, I don’t think not having frame data for Jill would “severely handicap” people who plays her at launch (how would they, btw?).
By launch I meant DLC release obviously, also, I fixed it to avoid misunderstanding.
Pretty sure she’ll have a ‘Claire Redfield’ color scheme. Brown hair (she’s got brown hair originally, anyways) with a red & blue battlesuit.
Okay, cool. But even still you’re overstating the disadvantages. For instance, there’s people who will jump in without reading the guide at all and do fine. And there’s people who will read the guide and still stumble figuring things out.
To be honest, I couldn’t care less about the guide, all those “advanced strategies” will probably become obsolete in a few months, all I really want is the frame data. Granted it will be online in a day or two after the guide drops, but I’m still a little worried about the DLC characters.
