It is after the super freeze, it’s just that some Magneto combinations prevent the opponent from blocking prior to the flash.

Woah woah woah wait wait wait I need more info on this. So all characters that are doing the supers are invincible? Does it matter if chun is on point or not?

All 3 characters gain invincibility on pre-freeze, but not post freeze. At the start of THC, nothing stops the super from coming out. After the freeze, 2 other characters will become vulnerable if they don’t have invincibility.

The reason why this is important to note is that Chun-li’s lighting legs THC cannot to be interrupted during the start up like say Magneto’s THCs.

So if you say, are about to get hit by a soencer overhead you can just THC and he will get hit no matter what he does? Another question, what is the quickest possible super that is THC able?

iirc thc startup is determined by the point char’s hyper, meaning IF’s 3f pre-flash Fist of Fury hyper is best

So Im learning a new team to go along with my Wesker/Doom/Strider team, just in case there is a match-up where I need to maul. Spencer/Doom/Vergil is a really good mauling team. With my BNB, from midscreen to corner, I get 1.2 million, killing everybody but Thor. Everytime I do command grab, I can hard tag Doom in, get a full combo into hyper, then DHC. The damage is outstanding overall. Off a command grab, I kill you. Godlike. I can also do it off the low depending on my position (corner). I just need a way to do it off an overhead.

I just learned how to plink dash :party:. Plinking MODOK’s up back air dashes using the double air dash glitch is so good. It takes him to super jump height a fullscreen distance away, while keeping his ability to call assists. And it can be done safely after a point blank L cube.

The rest of the video is me just throwing out ideas on potential setups with the double air dash glitch with assists. They’re pretty slow for the most part, but there are a few setups I found that a pretty good (not shown). Plink dashing the up forward air dashes with Vajra assist from fullscreen lets you get in pretty quickly and effectively in particular (as opposed to the slow Jam Session example used in the video). There’s also good stuff you can do with L cube + lockdown assist with the double air dash glitch.

Here is a better video show off what I’m talking as you can see Wesker/Spencer being assist attack while the point character basically freezes the opponent. Even through the point character’ssuper allows them to block, Wesker/Spencer’s assist supers become active quicker than the point character. They are so quick that sometimes the game won’t register the opponent being hit stun because super freeze isn’t completed yet. You can see this happen with Skrull and Akuma’s inferno/fireball super. Hence why it’s seems to be post zero frame.

If Magnus hit you, and you don’t have a invincible air super on your team, the game simplifies into “You guess wrong on a TAC, I win, you guess right, you get to keep playing.” Fair.

You can probably do the same thing even if they take the hit, I’ll figure that stuff out maybe later tonight.

You mean “Team Danke - Resurrection”? For sure. I saw it and knew there was a way to kill a team with 2 TACs, then I just kept trying ideas until I found the 1 TAC way. Mad props to you guys for figuring out this broke stuff.

I guess the goal now is to find a way to build enough meter from the follow-up combo to guard break the whole team without any TACs.

I remade my MODOK tutorial video. It has pretty much everything about the character in some form, but there is a lot of different tools shown that can be explored further and made really effective on a team by team basis.
