watched boyka is back U4 and headshot
just recently both movies were hella awesome
Finally got around to watching Headshot. Not only did it have great choreography but the cinematography and directing was pretty damn good as well. The story wasn’t half and for this type of film; I actually cared about the characters. The action was less martial arts oriented and more action movie brawling with some martial arts technique.
I gotta say, these Indonesian filmmakers seem really good at showing brutality and tension intermixed with some light Jackie Chan-esque humor.
Oh and the damsel in distress is a real cutie too with her glasses.
I thought Headshot sucked, just couldnt get into it. It was watchable, but wouldnt be a movie i hyped or would recommend. Like so we clear, it wasnt Kickboxer remake ‘am gonna kill whoever made this bullshit’ levels of bad lol, just, i was expecting a lot more from it maybe thats what it was.

good lord…i saw birth of the dragon. lmfao super trash. the best fight was wong jackman vs the plate at the resturaunt lmfao.
like the only thing they really got right was how much of an arrogant asshole bruce was before jkd…like the third act fight wise makes no fucking sense. bruce is on the second floor at one point and jumps/floats down using mystical ninja powers to the first to be a cocky asshole to jackman…even though they have to go back up the second anyways.
also apparently in his travels bruce learned how to do a fucking clinch and muay thai knees. Like hes all kung fuey and then throwin kees…jackman learned how to pull guard and do an armbar from guard.
