The MarsGatti Farewell/Peace Out Thread

Yeah my wife is Greek… You thought the financial crisis was bad! You ever seen a greek woman mad? Wheewww… They know how to break plates my friend! But she is also the kindest most caring person I know. So as long as she’s happy, I’m happy, happy wife, happy life, know what I mean?

Oh yeah, marrying a greek woman probably explains why I’ve gained like 50 + pounds since I’ve been married, Bakalava, Loukemades, spanikopita, gyros… mmm… love me some lamb…

I don’t know the temper of a full blooded one no, but it is wierd, my ex was also very caring and nice. . . when she wasn’t mad.

Creole Women 4tw.

Really Shari? I guess that surprises me a little bit… I don’t imagine there’s too much Creole flavor in Northern Europe… maybe I’m wrong…

I’m Half Creole.
And you would actually be surprised.

That’s interesting… Obviously it’s not like 30% of the populace I would imagine but I would be curious about the migration pattern and circumstances that would lead Creole families toward Northern Europe (and I guess Sweden in particular)…

I want to make a quick statement. I asked a quesiton because I didn’t know and you notice he didn’t freak out at me, he didn’t call me a racist or ignorant. He was gracious and I find myself educated for it. So thank you.

Well as a quick recap the reason i live in Sweden is that my Father and his family migrated to Sweden during WW2 from Estonia.
He was on vacation in Mauritius staying at La Pirogue Hotel where my Mother worked in the reception.
They fell in love and all that lovey dovey stuff and she came back with him to Sweden.

Then the fact that Mauritian people tend to be very mixed race themselves considering you have something like 6-7 different races living there.
And then my Father himself was both German and Estonian so i am somewhat of a rather strange blend.

I’m sure that makes for wonderful conversation when you’re doing your best Vega Cosplay and talking about how you got your dashing good looks… lol.

But seriously, that’s one of those really cool social migration stories, I have a soft spot academically for the sociology of migration and how certain people and ‘blends’ as you called them spring up… I think its just a really cool part of the unique human story.

I actually understand your story quite a bit, I grew up in Hawaii so let’s just say I think I’ve seen every Asian / Pacific Islander blend that could ever possibly exist in every permutation… needless to say, I know that not all Asians look alike… It’s actually quite funny when I meet someone new who has some level of Asian background and I’m able to identify their background by their look and they look at me dumbfounded that some white guy knows that not all Asians look alike… it’d be funny if it weren’t such sad social commentary.

I’m Euro myself, I also dig Euro women. Actually, any woman is good for me as long she fits my needs.

EDIT: New topic: what are your real names? I be Filip (or Philip, if you prefer).

You know what’s hot ?

Swedish Blonde Goth Girls.

Name: Mikael / Kevin.

Mikael is just a Scandinavian form of Michael.

Swedish Blonde… I’m with you! Goth? Ugh… Really? It just doesn’t do anything for me. I’ve never really understood the whole goth thing.

And I would give out my name, but as I’ve said before, I’ve said some very not nice things about my dean that I don’t really need attached to my name… So you can also call me by my alter ego name, Dr. Econ

The problem with Goth girls is that it’s oversaturated.

It’s the same thing as with Rap you have to wade trough tons of pure gangsta crap in that genre to find the good stuff.

I guess that just shows that everyone marches to a different beat. Now if you had some sort of picture to show what non-crud swedish blonde goth looked like… maybe I’d be able to visualize better, but I can’t get past my preconception on this…

And on rap… eh… I appreciate it as an artistic medium but realize that the vast majority of people who use it abuse it to openly advocate for violence, the commoditization of women, and bad grammar…

Rap is just in it’s hair metal period.
Metal had it’s beginnings with Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden etc.
Then it became completely commercialized during the Hair Metal years and everyone hated it.
Now it’s settled down and has a nice mix.

Rap is just in that middle period aswell.

Pics or it didn’t happen.

Also my name is Louis. It’s actually where “Thelo” comes from, “The Louis” as entered in a 5-character name field for some old Super NES game. My ethnicity is Super White.

BTW, you all would already know that if you read my AWESOME interview with Thelo on the WWL website…

P.S. Way to hold down back Thelo!

Hahah, Thelllllloooooooooooo! Dude, I dig the short shorts.

Good rap? Why didn’t you say so! Even people who don’t like rap should hear these tracks, I consider them all to be deep and inspirational.
