walk forward
I like to start a round with:
Standing Forward: It has the most reach out of any of his pokes and will stop almost anything.
Dash Throw: Block this.
Forward Chicken Kick: Obviously not good on characters that jump a lot or if they have a super that can punish you if it’s blocked. Use sparingly, but when it hits, feel free to shout out: Look bitch, I’m Rick James.
For connecting SA’s from the chicken combo, how do you cancel the first hit of strong into the SA?
I used to just give my quick little hand jiggle after pressing Strong and BLAM, your ass is handed to you. But recently I started doing this:
Strong>Chicken>QCF>(Neutral)Strong>QCF+P(PP)
Anyone else do this?
it would work, but you’ll risk having the strong button pushed while you’re holding the stick downwards. i’d stick to the quick hand jiggle thingie.
I used to try to do that, but I hate it when I get towards + strong. I just try to mash out the super with the jiggle.

i have seen the jinrai oro tutorial… but my question is…
i have seen how he finishes one of his SA III combos with a sun disk palm and then and oniyama…
how do you do to throw a sun disk palm and then oniyama? do i have to charge partition or something? and how do you do to use the SA III (i mean what do you guys do make it effective?)
Just takes practice. I taught that combo to young Streak some time ago, and he couldn’t do it. Look at him now. He must get it 20, 25% of the time. No charge partitioning necessary; just charge quickly.
Common way to go into EX Tengu is off of plain old close strong two hits or the full chicken kick combo into one-hit strong. The video does a good job of showing when and how to use it.
