sorry for the late comments coming from someone who has run tons of tournaments, having an entry fee as random as 7 dollars does not make things easy.

what you gonna do if 6 people enter. 3rd place gets 4.20? 2nd gets 8.40? have fun getting change.

try to keep it at something like 5bucks, or couple dollars and winner take all.

enforcing spectator fee also makes regulars not want to come if they can’t enter the tournament (cough has work and can’t join a 5pm tourney cough).

hopefully next one will be better. good luck to all who went.

I would like to thank all for coming out , hopefully we can have more setups next time to make the tournament run quicker and multiple games too.
Also we need a way better stream set up because that shit was fuzzy.

10% = 11.9
20% = 23.8

E14th got 2nd and Cesar got 3rd. Running on one setup for the whole tourney made it go too slow. Gotta add more setups. Had lots of fun overall =)

so… the players that entered the tournament only had to pay $7 and did not pay the $4 spectating/venue fee, did u guys take some of the money from the pot? just trying to clear things up.

nope everyone is wrong lol it’s 14 and i rounded the dollar up from my own pocket

14x7=98
.7x98=68.6(which i rounded up to 69)
.2x98=19.6(which i rounded up to 20)
.1x98=9.8(which i rounded up to 10)

68.6+19.6+9.8=98 all tournament money when back to the players who won 1st 2nd and 3rd we didn’t and wouldn’t take money out of the pot. that’s fucked up and don’t see that being fair to the people. The only money that we are getting are the spectating fee and the money from chips and soda.

oh and also to the last part of what you were saying harry. if a player was in the tournament they only had to play $7 and that’s all (unless they bought sodas and chips haha) and people who when to watch paid $4. so yea your right harry.

i think u can get AE used from gamestop for super cheap. once u get the game, download the update from the marketplace.

all characters are unlocked from the start. if you buy the disc copy of arcade edition, all you need to do is download the version 2012 update. after that you’re all set. costumes are optional.
