Format/rules:
-A match consists of: 2 out of 3 rounds per game.
-2 out of 3 games for a match
-Grand finals consist of 3 out of 5 games.
-After a game has ended, the winner must stick with same character for the next game.
-Loser has option of switching character
-Game breaking glitches are banned.
-Programmable controls are banned. Button macros (e.g. 1 button to perform 3 punches at once) are allowed. Turbo button features are NOT allowed.
-Pausing a game will result in forfeit of that round unless the opponent chooses to waive this option.
-tournament is double elimination bracket
tuesday fight night will be going down on the side so come and have fun
I tested Streaming last week and its all good. If you or manny can make an account with ustream or get whoever builds the made site to put the embed code on there i can stream it to your guys account. I’ll bring my computer tomorrow if anybody wants to stream some random fights.

If it was like, $3 entry and $5 tourney fee, i’d be down. $11 for a local tourney is too much for me though. If you get 16 entrants, 3rd place breaks even - any less than 16 and even 3rd place loses money. With 8 entrants 2nd place breaks even. My 2 cents.
although I am helping spread the word I am not the creator of this event … I will try to talk to others at MADE to see what they think.
Oh for sure - I do think that $ amount is a little high for a small, local tourney and I want your spot to grow and do well. I think you kind of shoot yourself in the foot with that price structure - too high for anyone but great players, but not enough turnout / venue cred for them to show up to tourney day. I recommend starting with something smaller entry fee wise to generate the player base, the standard for small SF tourneys has been $5 entry for as long as I’ve been around.

no the thing is if you are going to be in the tournament you are only going to play the $7 and that’s all but if you only going to watch it is going to be $4 dollars. did that make sense? .

-tournament pot fee: $7
-if you are not entering the tournament then there is a spectator fee of $4 (this will go towards buying dedicated setups for MADE so that people dont have to bring their sutff every time)
There will be a free play section with umvc3 and AE on the side (not pay to play but we still require a $4 spectator fee to get in)
