this one season of JoJo (Diamond is Unbreakable) is a long one (ha that’s what she said)… it’s on CN right now and I just noticed it’s episode 31. This is better than the previous season/era, imo…but damn it’s starting to wear out its welcome though…and I miss the days when the show had a compelling, all-powerful main villain like Dio that things were leading up to.
If you mean basically all of South America then yeah.
Saint Seiya is a massive part of the childhood of millions of people. There was literally no point in gender bending a character.
Yeah. Me being one of those people. I really don’t see the issue.

i did notice it made men look elegant. there was alotta man love but more like admiration rather than sexual.
or maybe it was very gay. didnt matter. great anime. great soundtrack.

Nope. I actually didn’t care that much about Shun’s gender swap. I think it mostly has to do that he was VERY girly to begin with, so I guess they just decided to go all the way with him…er, her.
That new Netflix series actually has a LOT more issues than Shun’s new design IMO (Saints vs. CHOPPAHS LMAO)
In fact, in the most recent Saint Seiya movie (the CGI one) they had already done a gender swapping with one of the Gold Saints (Scorpio Milo) which I actually found pretty refreshing and a great character design choice. Wish I could have said the same for the new design for Cancer Deathmask though… shudder
By the Hades arc I was starting to really REALLY get tired of the whole “I saw your technique once so now I know how to counter it and now you’re totally fucked” trope the heroes had going on, DESPITE the fact that the reverse applied for them (they would use their special techniques unsuccessfully at first and after the 3763738392th time it would finally work and beat the other guy).
I love Saint Seiya, but hooooly shit can it become pretty predictable.

LOL I didn’t really mind the Goku vs. Jiren fight, I just become extremely weary of how many hair colors the Saiyans can attain to display their power increase.
In any case, I believe the latest Broly movie was much MUCH worse in that regard because you knew Gogeta was coming and all the time I was like “Yeah, OK, cool…so…Gogeta now?”

these guys consistently have some serious jams, man…
I often have their stuff as some background music for certain games (like Dead Cells at the moment)
on another random note… I really wish the devs would reconsider and add a 3rd person mode for the upcoming Vampire Bloodlines 2… this is the only nitpick that’s irking me about at the moment… with the exception of Bioshock, I’ll always prefer 3rd person over 1st person perspective.

Well, there were basically just cloth redesigns? The only “upgrades” were when Bronze Saints could attain Gold Cloths and eventually God Cloths.
At a funeral. Which is a bummer. But it’s at coworkers house and she has puppers and a kitty so it isn’t too terrible.
I think I could use more Wagakki Band in my life
