The Lounge: Does Leroy Smith Listen to Wu-tang?

this is interesting… definitely checking this rest of this a bit later… I am only at about the 30 minute mark so far

This was my absolute #1 of the “Shonen” anime at the time…looking back on things… I’d say it still is, even with how disappointing it ultimately became. None of the other heavy-hitters had me hooked like Bleach did back when it was the hot new thing.

ha, this reminds me yet again of a certain silly ass friend…guarantee ya he’d be like “hey heyyy whoah man SPOILERS!” if one were to talk about it, since he never saw it. Yep, he’s one of those people who is years late on watching various things. I remember trying not to laugh when he quickly shut down a conversation about Skyrim due to not wanting to hear spoilers…and that was in about 2016 or so, at least 5 years after that game was out. (11.11.11 original release date… Skyrim’s main storyline is terribly boring, btw; I was merely bringing up some side adventure I was on, and something cool that happened involving a necromancer enemy…actually I doubt anyone out there truly cares about whatever is going on in Skyrim’s boring ass main story) People like that are frustrating to talk to but ultimately fun to laugh at.

had to dig it up… one of the greatest moments in popular anime, imo…that time when Aizen was so OP he stopped Ichigo’s heroic theme music

Not really, Von Braun was remorseful what he did and the biggest reason he went to work with the IS Government is they rather we get him as a top level scientist that. the Russians. Many times Braun said " it should be him in a stripe prison uniform"

More and more I realize that all the Actors that were in the Cats movie lost major respect from me. Every damn single one.

Everyone makes mistakes :joy:

Not me. An actor doesn’t know how something will turn out till it’s finished, especially on a project like Cats. You take the gamble and hope for the best.

I also have a hard time believing you ever respected James Cordon.

Or Dolitte . . . . .

sheeeitttt, that will be one of those movies I might need to own on dvd once it’s released. It looks so spectacularly awful, I must have it.

ha, an apparent telemarketer just called… I never get tired of that ringtone, man… yeah it’s still the clip from No Holds Barred when Hogan literally scares the shit out of that limo driver, and he asks “what’s that SMELL!!!”
“…doo…duh…dooOOOoookeyyyy…”
then Hogan has this funny look on his face as he’s like “Dookey??!” hahaha this will never stop being one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen and heard, goddamn  I could go on and say it’s just the undisputed champ for me… I doubt anything will ever top that.

Last good sf ost was sf2.
All of the later games have forgettable songs.

or just remixes of things from SF2.

I do like Guile’s Theme in SF5.

3s and cvs1 were straight fire imo
And cvs2 has true love and the Michael jordan slam dunk song.

I like sfv from what I remember like RASHIDOOOO
and some of the remixes. I played sf4 even less than sfv but I felt many of the songs were not memorable.

The remixes are a hit or miss for me.
Most range from mediocre to meh, with few being good.

I think only 4 or 5 from sfv i ended liking.
And from the new songs only 3.

Vanilla SF4 playing Indestructible > SF5’s theme.

I’m not even joking either. That little guitar lick or w/e the fuck shit thing that plays when you start up the game sucks balls. Bring back The Next Door.

Ah the CVS series. All the little stuff in those games made it great. The big “little” thing for me were the special character introductions.
One of my favorites was Ken throwing Terry his cap. (missed opportunity in Smash Ultimate).

Hated it at the time but I can’t deny those were some fun times being a scrub and not understanding shit about shit.

MLK Day, so the daycare is closed. But not actually a work holiday, and a work from home job. So I’m in a 4 hour conference call with my 3 screaming toddler hooligans in the room with me.

Woe to the motherfucker who takes me off mute.

SF4 was the first game that I actually tried to learn how to play legitimately. It’s hard to believe that it’s over a decade old.
