SO, if there’s another big CVS2 tournament at EVO (most likely in 2021), do you guys think the mode should be Single Match mode instead of Ratio Match mode?
Since everyone is used to SF4 and SF5 nowadays, might as well set CVS2 to bets 2/3 rounds best 2/3 games until losers finals, winners finals, and grand finals which will be best 2/3 rounds and best 3/5 games like SF5 is nowadays.
ProTip: K-Groove Yamazaki is MKII Shao Kahn tier in that mode dealing massive amounts of damage. Like 4 or 5 hits and you’re dead!!!

I stand by what I said before, but I guess we’re coming at it from two different angles. I never really had sympathy for nice guys who got passed over because I was too chicken shit to make my feelings known before at times and somehow was still able to date people I liked. So I see it from both sides, but I never tried to act like I just wanted to be friends. I don’t understand that angle.
I don’t think poorly of all nice guys, some dudes just lack confidence. Imagine if you listened to the advice women give about dating them you would probably end up in a similar situation. Most of those guys I think are fundamentally well meaning but can’t recognize the double speak lying nature of women. Women for the most part are completely full of shit, and you should watch what they do not what they say.
THIS! Average woman swears up and down that they can give advice on attracting a woman. But when you hit them with this question. “Have you ever actually attracted a woman though?” Either their mind is blown, or it’s " I know that’s what I would want in a man". And more often than not. The dude they’re with did none of that shit she’s telling you to do.
So yeah you absolutely right about taking a woman’s words with a grain of salt and paying attention to her actions
I don’t think poorly of a guy with low confidence at all unless they act like they’re owed something. Being nice should just come with the territory though, I don’t see that as a reason why someone should date you.
I don’t think listening to dating advice from ALL women is necessarily the best idea, but some women are smart and can help you analyze the situation sometimes. I always had female friends I could say, “hey what do you think of this?” and they’d give me their take, which, more often than not, helped out a lot.
Having female friends really helped me in the confidence area, and like someone else said, having them play wingman or introduce you to some potentials is a great way to go.
