I saw something weird while getting some grub. There was this short stocky Asian man with calves so big they were larger than his thighs. Like he had natural Megaman legs. I didnāt think it was possible to have tree trunk calves and skinny thighs, it freaked me the hell out. Like how does that even happen?

I have a friend who is exactly like him. We have a whatsapp group and he posts irrelevant shit or videos he thinks are funny but theyāre not. Sometimes he chills with us when we go to bars and stuff and heās in his own little world, so much that we kinda forget heās even hanging out with us.

It could be Beckerās muscular dystrophy or Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
It is x linked recessive so it is almost exclusively a male condition. (A girl would have to have 2 fucked up genes to have it where boys only need 1 messed up genes since we are XY)
-The telltale sign is pseuodhypertrophy of calves. Pseudo because while the calf muscles are used more, the enlargement is due to fat and connective tissue.
Becker is the more mild version. Duchenne usually only live to 30s from what I remember.

Thanks. In that case itās probably Beckerās, the guy didnāt seem hindered by it at all and he was walking with a normal stride, it just looked comically disproportionate.
I wouldnāt have assumed it was due to a genetic deformity because I know Asians, esp. SE Asians tend to have pretty big calves naturally. I just figured he had some niche blue collar job that took his naturally large calves to the next level.
Pacman is a good example of what Iām used to seeing in a lot of Asians and sometimes Mexicans:
