Richard would need an entire spinoff.
A Richard mini-series would be brain tier!
About Richard…
Spoiler
Interview with Jorge Garcia confirmed that ep. 9 will be Richard-centric.
That would’ve been nice to have been surprised with.
Sorry. I spoilered it.
I’ve heard that Shannon is supposed to be highly important to the story. Not certain which time-line, but I think in the alt. time-line where they landed, which means that she is still (supposedly) in Australia.
Ethan lifted Charlie up off the ground with one arm. Could be something similar at play.
He would need a motive to visit Sidney. If he wasn’t going to kill “Sawyer” then what ever could he have been going for? He definitely didn’t seem to be in any distress over killing someone, especially the wrong someone.
Possibly, Anthony Cooper (Locke’s dad), isn’t a conman after all.
My thoughts were actually that he was trying to con Hugo, not trying to help him. In fact, I could easily see this being the premise for future episode. Would be cool if so, but I doubt we’ll see it.
Word. This is the island’s only real secret now.
Yeah, that’s kinda a semantic point of confusion. “speak to” could mean the first word spoken, or it could mean before he’s had a chance to communicate something. It’s not clear if the difference is in exactly what smokey will say, or if it’s just he fact that he speaks to you. If it’s something like the Bene Gesserit’s “The Voice” in Dune, then you’re owned from the first syllable.
Ben killed him. In a beastly manner. Remember the dead-man’s trigger and the explosives on the boat?
Also, I think that Sawyer will con the smoke monster, if that’s even possible. So far I see no reason why it couldn’t be other than the idea that it may be able to read people’s hearts (Mr. Eko) and avoid it.
Personally, I adhere to the two smoke monsters theory and therefore the idea that perhaps the evil smokey cannot read hearts/intentions like the other “good?” one can. Otherwise, he’d have done a lot more damage already.
I think Dogan did not kill sayid himself because he knew he was a canidate, i took the baseball to be jacob’s way of saying “keep yah grimy hands of mah canidate!”
Here’s a wacky theory about Dark Locke’s voice. Maybe as soon as he said hello to Sayid, he cast some sort of illusion over him, making him believe he did stab him… sort of like an aural Sharrigan? Don’t know if that’s the right name for it since I despise Naruto.
Another good ep of AOL’s Instant Darma

People just don’t read anymore.
i think they are just teasing us with no answers for now and then the last few episodes are like an avalanche of info + WTFness mind blown. or atleast thats what im hoping for…
i have faith. i am a believer. jacob will guide me!
I really can’t afford to believe that Smokey John Locke has Kyoka Suigetsu as well as Sousuke Aizen. I’ll take a look, but I didn’t see any air Aizens on him.
This might be considered bad news for some people
Creators of Lost say LOST has run out of time, won’t be able to tie up all the loose ends - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/01/AR2010030103497.html?hpid=news-col-blog
I’d like to see LOST continued in someway, even a book provided the original writers are on board.
Big surprise… They say that they don’t have anytime but they didn’t reveal much so far. It’s just a stupid excuse imo. They could have answered so much stuff rather than make episodes where nothing happens or focus on this alternate timeline… whatever.
when most people fail to do a job properly over a number of years they end up on the employment line.
(back in greenland?)
I called this after ep 1 :), you could just tell they were gonna focus on the big picture, and not worry so much about minute details. IMO probably a good idea, i geuss we’ll judge in a few months. Im a fan of them “leaving the discussion open” as well, would it really be LOST if there were NO questions left? Kinda suprised by them being all wierd and saying they won’t ever speak of the show again though, lmao wtf?
MrList- dont talk shit on greenland >:(
Oh yeah, Aizen was the guy I was thinking of who can cast all those crazy illusions… I’m not a huge fan of Bleach either.
Yeah, half of each episode is 100% wasted on the alt-timeline. Unles that crosses over with the real timeline asap, I’m just not interested and I resent the time wasted on it as it has no impact on anything.
Yea I’m hoping that we have all the alt timeline people somehow brought to the island, where they meet there counterparts. Then the host of Survivor shows up :wow: (throwing up his signature peace signs) and its really a lead in to the best Survivor ever. Survivor: Lost, where all the teams consist of the pairs of Lockes, pairs of Jacks, pairs of Kates, so on. And the winner gets to leave the island with a million dollars that Dharma buried somewhere. It would be the first ever Fiction show turned Reality! :lame:
Season 6 of Lost is garbage. Fuck that shit.
The thing that I’m confused about is this: what the heck is the point of going through this alt-timeline?
I mean, the old-school flashbacks were meant to flesh out the characters and demonstrate the motivations behind the characters and their eventual paths toward the island’s-driven redemption. The flash fowards were meant to show that the Oceanic 6 were never supposed to leave the island in the first place, as pretty much everything went wrong and their lives started to collapse.
But this whole alt-timeline/flash-sideways thing isn’t accomplishing anything. There seems to be no point to them, and they’re not driving towards any definable conclusion. It feels like they’re just there to kill time.
