The LOST thread

We have to go backkkkkkkkk

Haven’t finished the episode yet. but I love it so far. Seeing Locke’s pitiful self against the backdrop of his new persona is awesome.

And… (what i really came here to post) Ilana has some BIG TITTYS!! and some DSLs. That’s it. Been meaning to say that for a while now, but but this episode, I’m ready for her to unleash them badboys.

Speculating is usually cool but speculating about this show is just … =/

No Said prob. never even MET Ben.

You guys need to see it like this, until the show proves otherwise-
The OTHER timeline is the FINAL timeline wherein the main characters NEVER went to the island.

Smokey seeing ghosts was a total mindfuck, one question/problem I have with this episode is, how did Sawyer know Locke wasn’t the real Locke, even after witnessing Sayid raise from the dead :wtf:

I felt so bad for laughing out loud at Locke’s misfortune. Locke is still by far the most interesting character since day 1 on the island.

Anyone notice when Locke meets Ben in the teacher’s louge, Ben imitates a weight scale as he hold the coffee pot in one hand and throws the filter in the bin with the other, what could that mean?

From his mannerism; he even said that the Locke he was speaking too didn’t behave like the Locke he knew.

Yeh, but for someone that has appeared to have beaten death twice, if you include his ability to walk again then reborn 3 times, I think it might change you =/

Another thing, I’ve probably got this completely wrong, but shouldn’t Locke be dead in the alternate timeline. His father pushed him out of the window, Jacob revived Locke that’s why he is in the wheel chair, so it rather odd that Locke’s wife to be talked about inviting his father to the wedding.

^Nah in the alt. timeline it’s possible his father never pushed him and they both ended up with a better relationship.

I really want to go back and find it, but I remember one of the producers/writes saying that that touch did not necessarily bring Locke back to life. Also, he touched all of the Oceanic 6 + Sawyer (and not Aaron), an act which we know was significant.

Yup, I brought that up a while back. Giggidy giggidy goo! Looking forward to her taking off that shirt to fully expose that red wife beater she’s wearing. hah!

I don’t remember Jacob healing him or anything of the sort - he just told him it’d be ok. My guess is all that still happened, he just didn’t meet Jacob (or did, but still didnt’ crash on the island) hence why he still can’t walk. I don’t see how him in a wheelchair otherwise makes any sense.

I remember his father being really shocked he survived, and if you look back he falls from a very high building. Here is the clip of when Locke meets Jacob -

As far as Locke’s father goes, Peg Bundy even wanted to invite him to the Wedding, so I highly doubt he knocked John out a window.

Something to consider: Smokey Locke did say that he was once a man on the island. How ever did he get noisy smoke beast powers?

I think Jacob and Smokey need to find willing replacements before they can leave the island. Smokey is trying to trick Sawyer into being his replacement right now, imo.

And Jacob wants Jack? That actually makes a lot of sense.
Remember Desmond wanted a replacement to push the bottons.

Does anyone knows what those black and white marbles that jack took from the bodies in season one mean?Could it be that those bodies were jacob and smokey even though one was a female?

Unless John never told her what really happened…

Even after watching this clip I still think Locke is dead until Jacob touches him.

Remember that Helen is fully aware of what kind of man Locke’s father is. Remember the money incident? Thats why Helen left him. I don’t think she would be together with Locke if that had actually happened and definitely would not ask to invite him to the wedding.

I doubt they mentioned Locke’s dad, the man from Tallahassee, by chance. Why did Ben need Locke to kill his father? Was this pure manipulation on the part of Ben? How did he get there? We know he has some role with the others. I think he is more than just a con-man but I don’t have any decent theories.

I think this may just be an indication that this is an entirely new time line without the effects of the island. No I can’t explain why the island is on the bottom of the sea floor in this universe.

I think of it more as “destined interactions”. Even though these people didn’t meet on the island, they seem to be interacting anyway. HOLY SHIT! Michael! I bet Michael died in his car accident and never got custody of Walt. That’s why they weren’t on the plane! Neat.

As far as Jacob and Smokey go… I don’t entirely know what to think. On one hand, you’ve got the others, whose point in this story is confusing at best. They claim to have worked with/for Jacob but their agenda the entire time seems to counteract that. Ben was, at one time, apparently the leader of the others but now it’s Shang Tsung, who we have never heard of until recently who now leads seemingly all of the other 815 survivors, including the children. All of these Others seem to know who and what the smoke monster is, but, for some reason, Ben was able to knowingly “summon” it/him to take care of the mercenaries attacking the Dharma houses. Well that’s weird that they can summon their Leader’s sworn enemy to deal with the riff raff.

-Why would Jacob choose to reside in Horaces cabin?
-Why did the cabin seem to move from place to place?

I’m just confused about the incident when Ben took Locke to the cabin the first time. Who was there? Why was the guy there afraid of a flash light? Obviously Jacob wouldn’t be. Locke for a moment saw him, and then he seemingly disappeared. Theres no way that could have been Jacob. Someone or something was being held in that cabin that wasn’t Jacob, and the ash around it was protecting whomever from the smoke monster. Perhaps it was keeping the smoke monster in.

Was it Horace’s ghost?
