Smokey did’nt point out kates name…Is she gonna get crossed out?
There’s no way they are going to answer all the questions. I wish I knew how many episodes there is going to be. It just seems like they’re taking their time to answer things. This episode we didn’t really get anything significant until the end, like most of the Lost episodes. At least we know why they were brought to the island. But why were the other people brought? Or were their names in the writing too, just crossed out?
And as I suspected, John really didn’t go on the walk about in the alternate reality. I figured he was lying to Boone, I just didn’t know for sure. Not very significant, I don’t think anything in the alternate reality is significant. But who knows? I think it’s cool how all the people from the island are meeting in the alternate reality. I don’t know the meaning of it, but it’s pretty neat.
I want to know what the hell is going on!! And FUUUCK! I wanted a Claire episode! She is the best female character on the show IMO. Basically because she’s beautiful and has a sexy accent. I assume she will be in next weeks episode.
Oh, and I think it’s kinda fitting that Sawyer is “with” fake John Locke/smoke monster. He’s always been the antagonist character, even though he became a “good guy” for awhile.
I don’t know about Claire being fitter than Kate. Kate has some pretty impressive muscle tone, but do I agree with all the other points.
I’m glad somebody brought up IIana. That chick is hot and the impressive rack she holdin’ up is a nice bonus.
That kinda sucks that smokey can’t shape shift anymore. So much for the theory of it being able to assume the form of anyone who died on the island.
It’s so weird seeing Katy Segal, aka, Peg Bundy, aka, Lela playing a role outside the Sons Of Anarchy. I’m so used to her biker chick persona.
it’s definitely arguable depending on what season you watch. my argument is that EdR has a slightly more defined six pack than EL. not to knock EL, she’s got some killer obliques, but sometimes it looks like EL is “puffing” up her shoulders to look like she’s more buff than she actually is. EL’s got nothing on EdR’s legs though. not even in the same universe.
Was it me or did the scene with smoky in first person, really seemed to emphasize the roller coaster sound.

I think the kid may be Jacob, interestingly enough. He looked like a young Jacob. It was interesting that Sawyer saw him too and Smokey thought he was hallucinating like everyone else, which is really interesting. Anyone else notice Kate’s name was not on that Ceiling?
Yeah was thinking that too, hmmm. yeah smoky seemed suprised as hell, maybe he thought he was seeing jacob’s “ghost”. It seems as if someone is a canidate to replace him, i suppose “the rules” prevent smoky from killing them. Meaning he has had to manipulate possible cannidates into doing things to not “deserve” the job, or flat out manipulate others to kill the canidates like ben and locke. How does ben and widmore’s game fit in within the game of smoky/jacob…
Seems like alot of stuff is just gonna get retconed/forgot about in favor of a more streamlined conclusion, which is probably the best way to go about it.

I wonder…does Jacob represent how man gets on with life despite all the sorrow man will feel? …and AntiJacob is man’s aggression towards the inability of accepting sorrow and whatnot?
Lol, the number, if you didnt notice, were 4, 8, 15, 16 23, 42. Interestingly enough… Jack had a 2 before him, and that doesn’t work out.

Yeah, but I’ve yet to work out what the numbers before their names represent. It must be the number of times that ______ has happened to them or they’ve _____. Until I can fill in the blanks I feel… lost.

Wow. Looks like she’s been working out recently because in older pics, she looks a lot softer. I wonder if she got into that kinda shape for her role as “Crazy jungle Claire”. Hopefully she’ll be rockin’ a wife beater like Rossaeu or however the hell you spell that name.
Ok not rettconned, but im just pleasantly suprised how the show seems to be heading to a nice tight ending focusing on just a few key characters. It seems more, how should i say it, “focused” than normal. I was still sort of skeptical but now im just hype :woot:
Oh, and Ben as a history teacher was tight.
Ok the whole theory that the evacuation of the island changed the lives of Ben and Nathan and all the others who were in the Dharma initiative have been shot when Ben appeared as a history teacher. I don’t believe Ben was in a position to get evacuated having just got shot and given over to the others. This seems to just be a universe where the island never existed.
No, the island existed., it just sank. It showed us that. But, I don’t think that Sayid ever shot Ben in that timeline. But who knows.
Maybe the numbers mean how likely they are to accept the position as protector of the island?
I don’t even know what to speculate.
Those numbers are the ones that hurley kept seeing right?
