I always thought it was Rose and her Husband because of the black and white stones they found in the pouch. Besides being black and white themselves I remember Rose’s husband making the SOS sign with black and white stones.

The first crash may very well be by chance; had Desmond arrived earlier and pushed the button, the plane may never had crashed.
…but after this recent ep. …how did the flash get them on the island? Something had to trigger it I think.
I too think that the skeletons are Rose and Bernie.

The flash we saw is what we know now to be a “time-shift”. When they came within the islands… hell, I don’t know “influence”, it “time-shifted” them to where they, and this is going to get redundant, to where they already were that leads them to where they will be.
Ms. Hawking said that the Dharma Initiave’s “light post” room was to tell “where in time” the island was, but I have no idea if that means they know where it is when and the ramifications of such knowledge? Didn’t they really only ever need to find it once? When did the Dharma initiative actually get there? Fuck! My brain! DAMN YOU, LINEAR TIME TRAVEL AND THE PARADOXES YOU CREATE!
Yeah, hopefully the flashes will have stopped by now. It was entertaining at first, but got tiring really quickly. I’m glad I saw the last 3 eps of season 4 and caught up to the current ep all in a row, or I would have got annoyed REALLY quickly.

It wasn’t really filler, it just set up. Pretty much, set ups individual episodes to focus on the other characters. While getting everyone on the island in a manner of speaking.
I actually didn’t like how Hurley and Saeed just suddenly appeared at the airport. At least when Daniel and co. were going to the island we saw some of the reasons WHY they are going there.
Sayid got arrested or some shit, drawing a parallel to Kate being a prisoner before. Hurley was, no doubt, told by the ghost of Charlie, though… that doesnt explain how he A) got out of jail and B) was somehow able to get a plane ticket out of the country after being released.
The best part is we don’t even know wtf he is.
Well you’ll excuse me if I say that I want the most horrible things to happen to Ben by the time the series ends.
Man, Lost started going downhill when Jack and them left the island…the traveling through time shi is lame -_- I wish they would’ve ended it last season. First 3 seasons were awesome though =D

It’s the island. No one REALLY dies there. Locke didn’t want to leave the island, he was doing what the island wanted him to do so of course it’ll bring him back to life.
I was looking through old 24 cast members, and MICHELLE DESSLER is slated to appear on Lost for 3 episodes next month(at the least) as “Amy”. Is this old news?
